Zayn looked at Louis like he's gone mad. What even is he saying? How is marrying Liam a golden opportunity!?

"Have you gone mad? I'm not gonna marry Liam. Never in a million years! Nope. Nada."

"I'm not asking you to marry him buddhu. I'm just telling you to say yes."

Louis said as if it's the most sensible thing to say.

"Make it make sense?"

Zayn asked confused. What was this idiot getting at?

"Sigh! You're so stupid Malik! Here, let me tell you. You know how Liam is loved by everyone here? The Golden Boy, as you call him? Everyone's favourite, from the security guard to the mail man. Your family, his family, my family, everyone loves him!"

Zayn huffed. Tell him something he didn't already know?

"Yeah thanks Louis. Thanks for the information. I wasn't aware of that!"

Louis suppressed the laughter that was threatening to leave his mouth. He knows how much Zayn hates the fact that Liam is everyone's favourite. But Louis had the perfect plan to change that. Louis is such a caring friend!

"But this one thing can change everything! This can make you the hero of the town!"

"I am!"

Zayn folded his arms looking at Louis.

"Yeah, when Liam is out of town!"

"Fuck you!"

"Again Zayn, not interested in your bony ass!"

Zayn was already annoyed and now Louis is calling his ass bony! Now not everyone can be Louis Bumlinson, can they? Words couldn't describe what Zayn was feeling. But fingers could. So Zayn flipped him off, with both hands.

"Listen to me first you idiot! Say yes to the wedding, but stress on the reasons like "I am only doing this for you guys. I know Liam and I aren't on best terms. But if this means you can keep your reputation in the society, and not get you embarrassed.. I will do it. Bhai already messed things up, so I must help clean it up."

Louis smiled like he preached something from the Bible. Zayn was still confused.

"And how will that help? I am NOT going to marry him."

Louis smirked.

"Simple! As far as I know, Liam would NEVER say yes to this. So once the decision is in his hands he will obviously reject the proposal and then he will become the bad guy in front of the family. Your family will praise you for your matured decision but it was Liam who didn't agree. So two birds with one stone! You're the hero and he's the villain. You'll get your revenge, and you'll get the praises too. Now how does that sound?"

Louis fell on his back when Zayn attacked him with kisses shouting "your brain is as big as your ass Loueh!" while Louis silently prayed nobody would walk in now and think Zayn is making out with him.

Liam couldn't believe his ears. Zayn said yes? Zayn. Said. YES? How the fuck!? There was no way Zayn would agree to this! But then what happened? Did they agree for Zayn to have a Lamborghini with Batman design or something? But even then Zayn wouldn't agree. What is he playing at?

"Li.. It's best for everyone if you-"

"No!"

Liam respected his parents. He did. Everyone knows that. But to marry Zayn? No, he hasn't reached that level of desperation yet! There's no way he is going to marry that cocky bastard! He already annoys the hell out of him by living next door. Now to live with him? Have they all gone crazy? Have they not seen how Zayn and Liam would have killed each other if everytime they got close to do it, one of the families wouldn't have interfered? Have they all gone blind to the animosity between them or what?
