Ch -5 First Compliment 🙈

Next morning , RC mansion...

Bondita's POV
I woke up from the most peaceful sleep I had in ages...I opened my eyes , everything felt different, I looked around  and I was in my old room...It was warm , fuzzy morning...as soon as I realized I'm home I had the biggest smile on my face...I still can't believe I'm home, with my family!
I got up tied my hair in a bun and thanked Dugga maa , that I'm home.
I took a bath , got ready like I used to and went towards the hall...Kaka sasur ji and sasur ji were already there...

Bondita took ksj's and sj's blessings...they gave her their blessings...while Batuk entered the hall...
"Dekho Batuk , sikho kuch apni bodi se...subha uth kar tayar ho kar sabse pehele badon ka ashirwad liya usne...yeh hai sanskar...tumne aaj tak kabhi kiya hai esa...roz milte ho subha par kabhi per nahi chue humare! Ksj teased Batuk.
"Are kaka , us din kya kaha tha apne...meri fikar aab tabhi karenge jab mein bhi bodi ki tarah 6 saal videsh mein reh kaar aunga...hai naa?" Batuk asked him.
"Han toh! Us baat ka yahan kya lena dena?" Ksj asked.
"Are mere bhole kaka ji, bodi toh 6 saal baad mil rahi hain aap se naa isiliye per chue aap k...toh aap bhi jao kahin 6 saal reh kar aao, aate hi aap k per chu kar ashirwad le lunga mein bhi" Batuk said laughing out loud.
"Kya!? Sharam karo sharam! Are humari bahu k sanskar hai , woh roz ashirwad leti hai mere, chalo chodo tumse toh baat karna hi bekar hai" kaka said while he seated himself on the couch.
"Accha bahu aab tum aa gayi ho toh , hum soch rahe the aaj subha ki aarti ghar k bete aaur bahu k hathon ho..." Ksj told Bondita.
"Han da sahi kehe  rahe hain aap..par bahu toh aa gayi , Anirudh toh aab tak utha bhi nahi hoga" Binoy said laughing.
"Are yeh ladka bhi, bahu tum hi jaa kar uthao apne pati babu ko...aarti ka samaye ho raha hai jaldi se le kar aao use" ksj instructed Bondita.
"Ji kaka sasur ji" Bondita nodded and went towards the study...
She knocked a few times and called Anirudh but no answer came...she knocked again and the door moved...it was open...so she entered and noticed Anirudh still sleeping like a child...
She smiled and tried waking him up but he kept rolling here and ther...she thought to herself..."aaj tak bacchon jese sote hai pati babu , kabhi edhar ghum rahe hain toh kabhi udhar...abhi arti ka samaye ho raha hai , jaldi nahi jagaya toh kaka gussa karenge..."
She then pulled the pillow Anirudh was hugging in his sleep and Anirudh fell down...

Anirudh's POV

I fell from the sofa and when I got out of my sleepy senses...I saw Bondita laughing her heart out...I was mad at first but she looked so happy and cute...she held the pillow near her chest hugging and sometimes hiding her face in it she was laughing... looking at her like that felt like I had woken up to the most beautiful thing I could ever ask for...
She stopped laughing and helped me get up...I faked my anger and asked...
"Yeh kya tha Bondita...ese uthate hain kya kisi ko...mujhe chot lag jati toh!?"
"Sorry pati babu" she said cutely looking down..."mein kya karti aap toh uth hi nahi rahe the , kaka sasur ji ka adesh hai ki aap jaldi se uth kar tayar ho jaye taki aap aur mein subha ki arti karen , agar apko deri ho jaegi toh apko dantenge naa kaka sasur ji isiliye esa kiya , aap gussa maat hoiye"
I couldn't control and laughed at  her innocent sorry face...she looked at me and realized I was joking..."kya pati babu , dara diya apne mujhe" she said and puffed up her cheeks... It's a thing she does when she's angry at me...she still remembers it I wondered...I apologized...and she smiled...
"Chaliye jaldi pati babu , tayar ho jayiye warna aaphi ko daant padegi" she warned me , while she kept the pillow back and folded the blanket...I couldn't help but stare for a few seconds..."she's back"I thought and smiled.

Anirudh and Bondita did the morning arti and Bondita served everyone prashad...
"Aaj is ghar mein kayi salon baad sahi maine me puja hui , ghar ki laxmi k hathon" ksj said merrily.
Anidita smiled and then everyone had their breakfast while Bondita served everyone.
At noon she helped Koyeli make lunch , helped Bihari clean up the mandir and change the set up of the hall...While she ran here and there in the house    talking , laughing , instructing and her payal making sounds of her footsteps going here and there...the house felt full... complete...her aura was so happy and jolly that everyone in the house were happy.
Kaka sasur ji was happy to have a sanskari and guni bahu... Binoy was happy to have an educated bahu, Batuk and Som were happy to have a bodi they could share everything with and be friends with...While Anirudh , he was happy have Bondita who takes care of his family, respects his baba and kaka like her own , cares for his brothers like her own, manages the house, educated herself , made his dream her's and made it come true...he was happy to have Bondita yes...but he hadn't realized  his feelings for her yet...(not for long😉)
At night Bondita served the dinner she made and everyone happily ate it. They wished each other good night and went to their respective rooms...
Anirudh needed a book and some clothes from his old room...well Bondita's room so he went there but something caught his eyes and he couldn't get in...
Anirudh's POV
As I tried knocking at the door I stopped...I saw Bondita... sitting in front of the mirror she was getting ready to sleep...she took out some of her Bangles and some she didn't...she took out her necklaces and one she didn't...then she opened her hair pin and her long , beautiful , dark brown hair started lusciously falling on her back...she swayed them towards her right side and started untangling them gently with a little comb...I was awestruck with how beautiful she was looking...and I stared at her unknowingly...when Batuk came and scared me from behind and seeing us she again put her hair up in a bun...

Batuk laughed at Anirudh's reaction and then ran inside...he stood near Bondita...
"Bodi aapko aye 1 pura din hogaya aur apne abhi tak mujhe mera gift nahi dia" Batuk told Bondita.
"Toh chote zamindar etni raat ko tum gift lene aye ho...subha tak ruk jate naa..." Bondita asked.
"Han toh...agar subha tak ruk ta aur kaka ya baba mujhe tumse woh gift leta dekh lete toh kya chodte mujhe daant nahi padti kya mujhe?"Batuk.
"Esa kya mangwaya tha tumne Bondita se Batuk?" Anirudh asked in suspicion.
"Are dada woh...woh toh mein..."Batuk realized he had been caught.
Bondita laughed at said"ruko abhi layi tumhara gift"
She handed him a romantic English novel and as soon as Batuk took it he thanked Bondita and ran out of the room before Anirudh could question him.
Anidita laughed at this. Then Bondita asked what Anirudh wanted...

Anirudh's POV

"Kuch nahi Bondita bus woh kitab aaur mere kuch kapde chahiye the...le lun?" I asked.

"Ji pati babu, is mein puchne ki kya baat?" She replied.

"Par kamra toh tumhara hai naa...kuch bhi lene se pehele puchna toh padega" I said.

"Par is kamre ki har cheez toh aap hi ki hai naa pati babu...Yeh woh kitaben , almari mein woh kapde , yeh aap ki kuch zarrori files, aaur mein" she replied with a smile.

I was speechless from her words...I just looked at her smiled and replied "Han"
Then she went back and sat in front of the mirror and let her hair down again...and started untangling them gently just like earlier she was doing...she looked at me from the mirror and  I ran to the closet and opened the door. I peeked and she wasn't looking at me now...

I reached for a shirt when she said...
"Accha pati babu , aap woh green shirt maat peheniyega kaal...Woh blue shirt , white coat k sath peheniyega..."
I turned to see if she's behind but she was still near the mirror...how did she know I was reaching for the green shirt!? I thought...
"Bondita tumhe kese pata ki mein green shirt hi lene wala tha...aur mujhe woh pehene se kyun mana kar rahi ho? I asked in confusion.
"Aap pati babu ho mere saab pata hai mujhe , apki pasand naa psand kaa...aur apko kaal sarpanch ji k sath Governor sir se milne jana hai naa...toh ese kapde pehen kar jaiyenge toh aapka impression acha padega naa, bas isiliye bola" she smiled and replied.

She left me speechless again. Her knowing about my likes and dislikes , so much that she knew exactly what I wanted to wear and what would be better...her caring for me , looking out for me like this feels so good.

I smiled and took the clothes she suggested.

As Anirudh was leaving he looked at Bondita who was now braiding her hair...She caught him staring at her again! And she broke the silence..."kuch aaur chahiye pati babu?" She asked.
"Nahi Bondita, shubhratri" Anirudh wished. He turned to leave but he stopped...after fighting with his thoughts of whether to tell her or not he decided to tell her...he turned and...

"Wese kuch kahun Bondita..."he asked nervously...

"Han kahiye naa pati babu"she replied not making eye contact...

"Tum...woh...tum..tum...Tum khule baalon mein bohot sundar lagti ho" he hurriedly spilled his words and rushed outside the room...

While Bondita just looked towards him instantly as he complimented her and she just caught a glimpse of him smiling as he rushed...
