Ch - 10 Little steps before Big ones

Bondita and Anirudh had a great time in mela...as a little girl found her inspiration in Bondita , it led them to take a big decision... opening their own school , to teach kids who can't afford going to British schools.
They enjoyed the sunset and then headed home...on their way...Bondita enjoyed the cool breeze but her pallu wouldn't saty on her head...it kept flying away...it was frustrating for Bondita... Anirudh noticed and said "agar pareshan kar raha hai...toh ghunghat karne ki kya zaroorat Bondita...hata do..."
"Par kaka sasur ji ko pasand nahi pati babu" Bondita said making a cute face...
"Han toh Bondita , abhi kaka sasur ji tumhe daantne k liye hain kya yahan...sirf mein hun naa toh hata do..." Anirudh assured her. She let go of her pallu off her head and as soon as she did her hair starting flowing in the breeze...she looked so beautiful that Anirudh couldn't take his eyes off her...he was mesmerized..."rasta toh samne hai naa pati babu" Bondita said looking in front , teasing Anirudh as she again caught him staring..."uhh..han han" Anirudh said blushing...
They reached home safely and before entering Bondita covered her head again...Both of them smiled at each other and entered into the haveli... seeing them...
"Kesa rsha mele mein ghumna bahu...sab kuch dekha naa.." ksj asked.
"Ji kaka sasur ji , sab dekha sari dukane ghumi , aur yeh dekhiye mein apke liye kya layi hun..." Bondita said...she started talking what she did , what she ate , what she had brought for everyone , as she explained all this to everyone like an excited kid , Anirudh looked at her being happy , he finally felt guilt free. Bondita gave everyone their gifts , they talked for some time then had their dinner and everyone went in their respective rooms to sleep.

Anirudh's POV
In the study...

She looked like a kid when she told everyone about our day...she looked so happy and innocent...it made me happy too. Being with her makes me so happy, I feel happy when she's happy...but today was different...when I saw that little girl calling Bondita her inspiration , I was the proudest man alive that moment...my Bondita! She's an inspiration for someone! Bondita was my guroor and she still is...

Meanwhile Bondita went to the study...the doors were open but she still raised her fist to knock...but she didn't...she caught her pati babu staring at her already...this time not her in real but at her picture...a picture of her and her pati babu in Barrister attire...which was taken the first time Anirudh told Bondita about his dream and she happily accepted them ,and in time made them their own as well...she smiled as she entered and ...
"Jub mein yahan hun toh aap mujhe taswiron mein kyun dhundh rahe hain pati babu?" She asked smiling.
"Are Bondita tum kab ayi?" Anirudh asked coming out of his thoughts...
"Jub aap kahin khoe hue the..." Bondita said laughing...
"Are nahi nahi Bondita mein toh bus kuch soch raha tha" Anirudh said smiling...
"Kya?" Bondita asked.
"Yahi ki tumne mera sapna pura kar diya Bondita...tum Barrister ban gayi ho...main bohot khush hun , bohot garv hai mujhe tum par" Anirudh said smiling...
"Dhanyavad pati babu, par aapke bina kar pati kya yeh sab...videsh mein padhna , barrister banna yeh sab toh apke karan hi kar payi mein, garv toh mujhe aap par hai" Bondita said smiling...
"Par Bondita aab jo kadam hum uthane ja rahe hai , apna school kholne kaa , yeh bohot zimmerdari wala kaam hai , mein toh hun tumhare sath , tum dogi mera sath?" Anirudh asked , even though he knew the answer , he wanted to hear it from Bondita...
"Bondita toh humesha apne pati babu ka sath deti hai" Bondita said smiling. And it was enough to melt Anirudh's heart.

"Wese tum yahan kese Bondita?" Anirudh asked.
"Woh pati babu socha koi kitab padhlun sone se pehele, bas ese hi man kiya, wahi lene ayi thi" Bondita answered.
"Han dekho kya padhna hai le lo" Anirudh said as he went near the table and picked the book he was reading...
"ji pati babu" Bondita said , giggling. Anirudh blushed and started reading his book.
After searching for sometime Bondita took out a book and started reading it...she walked here and there holding the book turning the pages as she finished reading them...she them seated herself in the couch just in front of Anirudh. Both of them wre busy reading their books , Anirudh would peek out of his book sometimes to see if Bondita is still reading...she was deep in her thoughts , reading the book...He would stare a few seconds and then get back into his book...after sometime he peeked again and this time Bondita had fallen asleep with the book in her hand...she looked uncomfortable , so Anirudh went near her and tried waking her up , he took the book out of her hands and shaked her arm a few times...she woke up faintly but she just made herself comfortable in the couch and
said in her sleep..."mujhe sone dijiye naa pati babu" cutely looking at Anirudh.
He smiled , and covered a blanket over her...he was sleeply too so he lied on on the couch which was just infront of the one Bondita was sleeping... staring at his innocent wife he too fell asleep.

Next morning...

Bondita was tired from yesterday so she was still sleeping...Ksj noticed the doors of study were open , he went inside to check on Anirudh...but instead he saw his son and his bahu sleeping like kids on the couch...he saw some books on the table and realized both must have fallen asleep while reading. He smiled and blessed the couple in his mind...he then went near Anirudh and woke him up...told him to wake Bondita and he left... Anirudh saw Bondita was still sleeping so he tried waking her up...she woke up all confused , as she covered her yawn with her hands...she realised she fell asleep in the study that night , but she got up in a jerk when she looked at the clock , she was late..." Aap mujhe abhi jaga rahe hain pati babu, kitni der ho gayi hai mujhe" she exclaimed! Before Anirudh could answer she ran upstairs to her room to get ready... Leaving Anirudh in a "ismein meri kya galti" face...

Everyone were having their breakfast , Bondita was serving...She looked at Anirudh and gestured with her eyes something... Anirudh was shocked and confused to see Bondita like that...she gestured again but he didn't understand..."offo pati babu" Bondita thought smacking her head with her hand lightly...she then went near Anirudh...he looked at her coming towards him and started getting nervous...She came near him served him a luchi , as she bent a little pretending to reach something...she whispered "pati babu, mein kya kehe rahi hun samajh nahi rahe hain aap...kaka sasur ji se baat kijiye"
"Tum yeh keh rahi thi" Anirudh said looking at her...
"Han toh apko kya laga" she asked , confused...
"Nahi nahi kuch nahi" Anirudh said...he then turned to kaka escaping Bondita's confused gaze and said..."kaka kuch batana tha apko"
"Bolo" ksj said.
Anirudh then narrated all that happened in the mela and told ksj about their decision nervously...ksj was impressed, he was happy about the decision...
"Baki sab toh thik hai , par school khologe kahan kuch socha hai" ksj asked.
"Nahi kaka" Anirudh answered.
"Woh Kaka sasur ji mein soch rahi thi ki , agar apki agyan ho toh, jab tak school kholne k liye sahi jagah ya zameen nahi mil jati, kyun naa hum purani haveli mein hi..." Bondita said.
"Are wah bahu sahi socha hai , ismein humari agyan lene ki kya baat hai, tum chinta maat karo hum tumhare vidyalaya k liye zameen dhundnge tum Baki tumhe jo karna hai karo" ksj said happily.
"Aur school kholne k liye permission mein le aunga" Binoy said.
"Mein Sabhi bacchon tak yeh khabar pohoncha dunga ki school khul raha hai." Som said.
"Mein aur koyeli purani haveli ki saaf safai karwa denge" Bihari said.
Both Anirudh and Bondita were happy that their family supports them so much that now they don't have anything to worry about. Everything will be fine.
Bondita had happy tears in her eyes and she thanked Everyone. Anirudh hugged his kaka and baba in happiness.
"Batuk tumne nahi bataya tum kese madat karoge humari?" Anirudh asked.
"Dada school khulne par mein hun naa principal banne k liye" Batuk said. And Everyone laughed.
After breakfast Everyone left for their respective works... Anirudh and Bondita were still at the dining table...as soon as everyone left...they held hands in excitement and started jumping
"Humara sapna pura hoga pati babu" Bondita exclaimed.
"Han Bondita" Anirudh said.
And in excitement unknowingly Anirudh pulled Bondita towards him and hugged her, she too hugged him back tightly...but as soon as they realised it...they separated themselves from each other...
Their cheeks grew red and they started blushing...Bondita grabbed a plate and Anirudh grabbed his bag...
"Mujhe kuch kaam hai" they said at the same time...
Then looked at each other and ran opposite directions...
Both of them smiled and blushed remembering their hug afterwards...

They had taken little steps towards their big dream...
