Ch - 17 Still blushy

Next morning...

It was Bondita and Anirudh's Haldi ceremony...The preparations had started from early morning...the RC mansion was decorated like never before, everything was luxurious and traditional. Ksj was calling Bihari babu every few minutes , asking for updates on the preparations... Invitations were sent out and every close friend and family were personally invited with a visit by Binoy and Som.
Soon it was time for haldi...Anirudh was wearing a yellow Kurta and dhoti...but his eyes were waiting for Bondita.

"Are aa gayi choti malkin" A woman said in the crowd.

Anirudh instantly looked towards the direction everyone were looking and Bondita climbed down the stairs...she was wearing a yellow Saree , hands and feet adorned with alta like usual , hair let down and little flowers pinned in them. She looked like she usually does but her charm was different... Anirudh just stared at Bondita , he felt butterflies in his stomach...his cheeks grew pink and he blushed... Bondita came and stood infront of ksj , ksj gestured something with his eyes and Bondita understanding him covered her head with her pallu. Anirudh frowned at this
"sara maza kharab ho gaya , kitni acchi lag rahi thi bondita"Batuk said laughing.
Anirudh , who was still staring at Bondita unknowingly , shifted his eyes furiously towards Batuk..."yehi soch rahe the naa aap dada?" Batuk said teasing Anirudh and Anirudh just blushed. Bondita came smiling and she stood near him. They smiled at eachother but their hearts were dancing...

All eyes were at the couple...the guests were still arriving there was still time for the ceremony , Anirudh and Bondita were with ksj and they were talking to some guests...but Anirudh had something to tell to Bondita , everytime he tried telling her ksj would interrupt them with a new person to meet to...and so fed up he decided to wait...as they were in the middle of a such boring conversation...

"Barrister Babu" A voice called from behind...
"Ji" Anirudh said as he turned.
"Aap nahi woh" Saurabh said tapping on Bondita's shoulder....
Seeing Saurabh after so many years Bondita went crazy happy, she and Saurabh had always shared a close brother sister bond. They instantly hugged eachother. Anirudh hugged Saurabh too. 
"Yeh kya dada aap Banaras kaam se gaye hain suna tha par aap toh wahan jese bas hi gaye the , mujhe aye 3 mahine ho gaye or apke darshan aaj ho rahe hain!" Bondita said folding her hands and faking her anger.
"Are are naraz maat ho Bondita , kaam tha naa , aab aa gaya na mein" Saurabh said hold his ears"maaf kar de mujhe"
The trio laughed.
"Ese toh kaam se fursat hi nahi thi , tere aane ki khabar sunkar raha nahi ja raha tha mujhse wahan" Saurabh's mother then came smiling.
"Kaki maa" Bondita said and she and Anirudh touched Laxmi kaki's feet (Saurabh's mother) and took her blessings.

Then the Haldi ceremony started , one by one everyone applied Haldi to first Anirudh and then Bondita.

Everyone were having fun, dancing singing and coloring eachother with haldi,  Anirudh and Bondita by this time were almost yellow. Laxmi kaki saw that they looked uncomfortable with Haldi all over their bodies so she told them go and clean some of it off. Anirudh and Bondita then left for the kitchen where they were supposed to clean themselves but Anirudh , finally felt this like a chance to tell Bondita what he wanted to tell her...They walked towards the kitchen , Anirudh still in his thoughts slowly entered the kitchen with Bondita, they were alone...
Bondita took her pallu off her head then washed her face and hands , she totally forgot that Anirudh came with her because he was so silent and slow...so she started setting her saree and dusting off haldi from it... Anirudh looked at her and just kept staring...
"Bondita kuch kehena hai tumse" He said.
Bondita looked at him suddenly and she felt shy , she instantly stopped what she was doing and answered"ji pati babu , kahiye"
"Woh um" he Whispered.
"Are pehele apna muh dho lijiye agar haldi ankho mein chali gayi toh jalan hogi" she said and she poured water and Anirudh washed his face and hands.
"Kahiye kya kehe rahe the" she said.
"Mujhe kehena tha ki mein , woh mein, tum, woh mujhe, tum..." Anirudh kept blabbering!
"Offo pati babu bus mein woh tum woh karenge ya kuch kahenge bhi?" Bondita said and she tried walking away but she slipped on the wet floor. She gasped out of fear of falling but Anirudh held her, one of his hands was on her bare waist and one held her hand tightly. She opened her eyes to see Anirudh holding her, both of them blushed...
"Mein tumhe kabhi girne nahi dunga Bondita" Anirudh said looking into her eyes and she smiled in relief.
He let her go..."mein kehe raha tha ki tum aaj acchi lag rahi ho" Anirudh said slowly.
Though Bondita blushed she instantly said smiling "roz acchi nahi lagti?"
"Lagti ho par aaj kuch khas lag rahi ho kuch alag" Anirudh said.
"Tayar toh roz ki tarah hi hui hun , phir kuch alag kese hua?' Bondita asked.
Anirudh couldn't answer it right now despite having an answer.
"Kuch nahi, chalein?" He said.
And they went back to the ceremony.
