Ch - 11 A little misunderstanding

Bondita and Anirudh worked hard day and night to open their school. Ksj searched for a place for the school , Binoy uncle helped with his contacts to get permission for the school as necessary , Som and Batuk helped spread out the word that there would be a school for kids that can't go to British schools. The school building was getting constructed and was supposed to be done within some months...by then Bondita and Anirudh opened their school in the old RC mansion...at first there were only a few kids but then as people believed that the school is authentic , and that there would be soon a new school , many families enrolled their kids in Bondita and Anirudh's school.

(Suggest me a name for the school )

Bondita and Anirudh started staying pretty busy in their work. They juggled between their work , school  plus Bondita being the choti malkin had to take care of the house too.
Bondita noticed that the whole family is staying busy...they would just meet once during breakfast ,that too they would eat in haste or just talk about work stuff. Even though she too was busy she thought of doing something.

It was Sunday but everyone in the family still had work to do... Bondita woke up as usual , got ready , did the arti , served everyone breakfast...

"Bondita, school k kuch zarrori papers aye hain , Governor office se unhe check karna hai, aur bhi kaam hai tum jaldi se study mein aa jao" Anirudh said finishing his food and left for study.

"Ji pati babu" Bondita said.
Everyone left for their work...they would now meet at lunch , Bondita knew...She instructed something to Koyeli and then left for study...

She knocked at the study...
"Aa gayi Bondita , kitni der laga di...acha chalo jaldi yeh papers dekh lo..." Anirudh said...he handed her some papers and envelopes...they became busy in their work...
After some hours Bondita looked at the clock and it showed 12pm...Lunch time was near...she looked at Anirudh who was engrossed in his work...

"Pati babu main baki ka kaam baad mein karun toh chalega..." Bondita said.

"Kya" Anirudh asked..."kyun"

"Main baad mein sara kaam karlungi , sare papers bhi check karlungi , kitaben rakhwa dungi sab ho jayega bus abhi jaun toh chalega?" She asked again.

"Par Bondita kyun?" Anirudh questioned back...

" Bus hai mujhe kuch aur kaam" Bondita said escaping Anirudh's gaze...

"Bondita isse zaroori kaam aur kya ho sakta hai bhala?" Anirudh asked again...

"Hai pati babu hai koi zaroori kaam" Bondita said.

"Humare sapne se bhi zaroori?" Anirudh asked...

Bondita was quite for a moment and she replied "ji pati babu" looking down.
Anirudh was both shocked and confused to hear Bondita's reply...

Anirudh's POV

What could be more important than our dream I thought...
She asked again if she can leave and finish her work later...
"Mujhe der ho jayegi pati babu , mein jaun?" She asked.
"Han thik hai jao lekin.." before I could finish my sentence she interrupted...
Standing up she said..."acha toh mein ati hun par apko ek wada karna hoga..."
"Kya , kesa wada?" I asked.
"Nahi, ese nahi...dijiye mujhe apna hath, mujhe chukar wada kijiye ki aap mere peeche peeche nahi ayenge , mera zaroori kaam kya hai janne" she said and took my hand, she held it firmly between her hands...I smiled at her childish behaviour and said "wada karta hun" without even thinking twice. She smiled back and turned to leave...I took a step forward and she instantly turned back...
"Chinta mat karo tumhare peeche nahi aa raha Bondita" I said frowning, doesn't she trust me I thought.
"Han pati babu janti hun...bharosa hai mujhe apne pati babu par" she said as she picked up the empty coffee cup...she smiled and left...left me speechless...this girl! I thought...never misses to amaze me with her words... everything about her is so...I don't know...she leves me stunned and mesmerized with everything she does...what is happening to me Bondita? I questioned myself...
