We reached the Canal side and sat down on the grass, no one else was around. "Phraa its boiling" I said fanning my face with my hand. "Take your hoodie off then" Leo said and I shot him 'the look'.

"No leo" I said angrily.

"Why its only us around" he said. It was true. There was nobody around. Okay then. I unzipped the chest zip and took my hand out of my sleeves, to reveal bunches and bunches of bracelets. "Really mia?" He said, sounding angry at me. "Okay, okay" I said and one by one, started taking off my bracelets to reveal dark red slices all up my arm. Leo gasped and held my fragile thin arm in his hands. " please stop." He said looking up to me with a tear in his eye. "But Leo I cant-" I started. "For me?" He said looking into my eyes sadly. "I'll try but no promises. " I said managing a small smile. He traced his fingers across the scars. Until he comes across a deep cut and I wince. "Oops sorry" he said pulling me into a hug. "Its ok" I said in pain. "Right, your not getting this back now." He says. "Thank you" I say and hug him, but he seems confused so doesn't hug back. Once I let go he says "What for?" . "I need to tell people sometime or other." I said and put out my arm so he could get up. He smiled and we walked back to my house laughing and joking about silly little things.
