She's awake. This is really happening. This is real. This is a miracle. My babys back.
"Hey," she said in a mousey voice.
I couldn't find the words to say; my voice was overpowered by crys and it was impossible to get the words out.
"This is happening..." I mumbled, still shocked.
"Yeah." She said. She looked sad, disappointed.
"Im sorry." She said starting to cry.
"No don't cry! Whats wrong princess?" I rushed over to her side, sitting down beside her bed.
"Im so selfish. I have people that care for me, yet I just threw them out. It was an automatic habit. And im sorry. Im sorry for not respecting you. I love you. I really do." She said, looking down.
"No baby, don't think that. You just need to believe in yourself. Don't put yourself down. It's my fault that I wasn't there for you. But I promise, I'll be with you every second from now on. But you need to promise me something." I said and she looked up at me,"if somethings wrong, you tell me straight away, okay?" I said and she nodded.
"I promise," she said and hugged me.
