We all sat on the sofas, surrounding Mum who was standing in front of the TV, a huge beaming smile on her face.
"What?" Ryan said
"Well" Mom said dancing up and down, looking like she needed a wee " I've just got an email through"she said and all of us were leaning forward in the seats. "It says" She started and cleared her throat. "Dear Mrs Robertson.
We have been informed to forward this email to you, as the main recipient is currently unavailable. We would like to invite the whole of The Alphadog Family to play at Soccer Six, SoccerDrome, London on the 7th of May. We would also be privileged if any of the acts want to perform on this day. Thanks for your cooperation- David Marson "
Mum looked up at us to see us all staring gapey mouthed.
"So, you lot up for a game of footy?" Mum said beaming.
We all jumped up in excitement. I was really really looking forward to it, but I was feeling a bit nervous, it would be the first time that Me and Leo would be saw together as a 'couple'. While everyone was chatting about Soccer Six, Ryan came over to me and sat down, his arm around my weist. "You sure you want to go Mi?" He said into my hair, my head reated on his shoulder.
"Yeah" I said- bit I still wasn't 100% sure yet.
"You do know you don't have to perform, if you don't feel comfortable. You don't hav-" he said. "Ryan, I'll be fine" I interupted, giving him a reassuring smile.
"Okay, just wanting to protect you" he smiled back "its my job as your big brother" he winked.
