Piper had never lived in the same place for too long. Well, that was until her parents wanted to move back to her birthplace permanently, which was Texas.

Although she was born in Texas, she had a very prominent British accent, due to her younger years of education being there from 3 to age 7.

After London she moved to Sydney, only there for a few short months.

Then, from Sydney she went to Tokyo, one and a half years there before back to the UK, more specifically Edinburgh in Scotland for three more years.

Then, she went back to London until age 16, then from 17 to 18 she lived in Mexico City.

She had loved all the places she had been to, they all seemed to intrigue her immensely, she never once complained about moving.

That was until moving back to Texas.

Sure, she wasn't even 3 when she moved away, but the feeling of dread and almost loneliness she has when thinking about this place was something really deterring her.

And even though she wouldn't even be living in the same house as her parents, she just knew that being away for too long at age 19 was something she really didn't want.

So after a mass amount of persuasion from them and the idea of new job opportunities, she returned back to her birthplace.

You would never expect for your first day being back in Texas you would be talking to a random person because of you both making a fool out of yourselves

You would never expect for your first day being back in Texas you would be talking to a random person because of you both making a fool out of yourselves.

But that was exactly what happened to Piper.

She had just been picking out some decorations she wasn't able to get before moving back. She had a load of bags in her hands, which was understandable, but she didn't think they'd be that heavy.

Admittedly she wasn't the strongest person out there, the only sort of physical activity she ever did was dance, and apart from the cardio sessions she would do as warmups and the occasional workout she wouldn't improve her strength too much.

Stumbling out of the door, she accidentally walked into the boy passing in-front of the shop. Neither were paying too much attention. One was on their phone, trying to make as little eye contact with anyone as he could, whereas the other was trying to not fall flat on their face, focusing on keeping the bags in her hands to not overweigh her.

'I- I'm so sorry' the girl apologised, noticing the contents of two of her bags had spilled out everywhere. Luckily, it wasn't anything which would break too easily.

'No, no, it's my fault' he smiled, noticing how quickly the girl got flustered over everything, opting to help her pick everything up, 'Do you want me to help you carry these?' he asked.

The boy was a lot taller than her, but that wasn't hard to be seeing as she was 5'3. He had green eyes and brown hair, and she could swear she had seen him somewhere before.
