Piper was driving down to Becca's house and purely vibing. 'Mr Loverman' blasting, and just having a good time.
Life was good. Well, as good as it could be for a girl stuck in a state she really didn't want to be in. But at least she was near Becca, her family and would probably be staying for a little while.
She liked certainty. Knowing definitely that something was going to happen. So the feeling where she knew she would be staying in Texas for a while was great.
Pulling up outside the girls house, her excitement was through the roof. She hadn't seen the girl in a while, and she had missed her greatly.
Running up to the door, she grinned at the girl walking out of the door. They wrapped each other into a hug immediately whilst laughing.
Bit of a weird reaction to laugh, but they didn't know what else to do. They were filled with joy, old friends reunited but without drifting in the middle.
'You're fucking here!' Becca exclaimed as she pulled the girl indoors. They were both cackling with laughter at this point, in hysterics basically.
'So, how have you been?' the shorter girl asked, before diving deep into a conversation.

Piper and Becca had spent all their times being absolutely stupid.
From blasting the radio, bitching about all their problems and doing the most idiotic things in their opinions.
'How long do you think you'll be here?' Becca was sat, the girls cuddling on the sofa. It was weird, their friendship was 100% platonic, but acted like a couple. But they liked being like that, after not being with each other for such a long amount of time, the comfort of being in the others presence was something they craved.
'Probably longer than when I was in Sydney, hopefully not too long if you get me? I hate it here' Piper started, looking at the girl next to her and her face falling slightly at the frown now adorning her face.
'Not because of you, I guess it's just boring' she admitted. She never really knew why she hated Texas so much, but it just gave her horrible vibes she didn't want to go through.
But Becca had outsmarted her, well not so much outsmarted, but more made her see everything in a new perspective. 'You were barely a child when you last lived here, how'd you know it's so bad?'
The smaller girl pondered for a small few seconds. She'd never thought about it before. And the other girl wasn't wrong either. She wasn't even 3 when she last lived here in a 'permanent' way, but that didn't really come into her mind until then.
'I have no idea to be completely honest' the girl kept on questioning, before she knew it actually sleeping on the couch.
