Nick was nervous as he and Piper drove a little way to a park. He had been nervous the whole date, especially since he didn't know if it would all go terribly just in an instant. The car pulled to a steady stop, but neither made an effort to move.
Grabbing the back of her hand and rubbing small little circles upon it, it was a small amount of affection which Piper loved. Acts like this were something she found extremely endearing.
The girls eyes flicked between Nick and hers intertwined hands and his face. He was pretty. Piper never knew why she found him to be pretty, but the word seemed to fit him perfectly.
Sapnap noticed Pipers eyes kept looking up at him, so he ended up turning to face her. Piper did feel slightly embarrassed at first, no clue why, but Nick just reassuringly squeezed her hand.
Sap quickly got out of the car, rushing to the other side to help Piper out. He was incredibly well-mannered when near her, something she found oddly adorable.
'Thank you' Piper said, Sapnap grabbed her hand before leading her to where he had wanted to go beforehand.
They started walking around the park at a very slow place, both of them were just occupied by spending as much time with the other as possible.Sapnap was slowly getting more and more confident, it wasn't as hidden to him as before that Piper had feelings. He was recalling some of the advice that his friends had given him prior, sure it wasn't the best set of ideas from them but it wasn't the worst.
Bad had told him to be himself, so he was doing just that. He wasn't being ashamed of being slightly nervous, it was a natural human thing and just to his luck, Piper was nervous too.
Dream and George had both told him to be confident. Their advice, although painfully obvious was rather helpful. It was a good thing in his mind to know that two of his closest friends cared enough for him to care.
Karl was the next person, rather than helping him in that way, he helped Sapnap pick out what he would do on the date. It was late at night, he was panicking over the date, but Karl helped immensely. He knew what Piper would like and dislike, eliminating options of what they could do and what not to do.
Alex didn't really help, but did make him laugh quite a lot which was something he really needed.
He was so incredibly grateful for his friends, they knew exactly what to do and how to do it.
The pair finally came to a halt. Looking down at the girl, Sapnap turned her so Piper would be facing him. A light blush appeared on both of their cheeks as they stood under the now setting sun.
'Piper' Sap looked at the girl, softly smiling at the girl who was licking her hand with his yet again. Piper looked up at him, nodded softly and kept staring up at the boy. He was perfect in her mind, the golden lighting coming from the now setting sun was making him glow.
'You're one of the best people I've ever met in my life, and I know I'm a work in progress, but would you yanno, want to be my girlfriend?' Sapnap looked down at her hopefully.
Pipers heart melted, he was the sweetest and most adorable person, even if he didn't want to believe it. She wrapped her arms around his neck before kissing him softly and passionately. It was shocking at first for Sapnap, but he slowly started kissing back with the same amount of force.
She didn't need to say a single word to him.
They were both works in progress, but building up each other together, they would become a complete piece of work.
