Sat in silence.
That is what they had been doing for the last minute or so. Neither could produce a single word, both being shocked by the sheer amount of confidence they had both endured, and how quickly it could all disappear.
'Well...' Piper started, not really knowing what to say. She was so lost for words about the situation. She wanted to just ask him out, but was it the right time?
Half of her brain was repeatedly telling her no. She didn't want to rush things with Sapnap too much, she liked their friendship too much to ruin for something that might not work.
The other half was telling her yes. The urge to just live in the moment and risk everything they had in a friendship for love. What was the point in waiting for everything to fall into its place when she could easily speed everything up?
'Well...' Sapnap smiled at the girl who had moved over to sit on his lap to hug him. He lightly pressed a kiss onto her forehead, which was a thing that Piper was oddly heart-warmed by.
Sapnap quickly lifted the girls chin and pressed a small sweet kiss on her lips. Piper had never felt so happy in a single moment, she didn't know what this feeling was but it was something she wouldn't complain about feeling a few more hundred times.
