This unusual response caught Antares off guard, but, the man continued.
"Our world is different and yet, the same in many ways. Firstly, there are a lot of people there, too many in fact. Everyone trying to do something in their limited lives. Everyone trying to achieve some sort of goal. Everyone mostly living for themselves in their own isolated lives."
God kept explaining.
"At the age, when we started to develop tools... Technology... We fucked up... Kek.
At first, we had no idea for fuck's sake... But the pollution of our world had already begun... But that wasn't all..."
"What do you mean?"
"We were living on borrowed time anyway... Our world supposed to get burned and incinerated in a few million years... By our own star."
Antares' eyes widened as by hearing the word star.
"Every time, there comes a star which supports the life of its worlds... It gives them warmth, it gives them the power they need to survive... But soon enough.."
God's eyes turned towards Antares. And then,
STATIC STATIC
In Antares' place, Surya found himself again.
And as God looked at him, he continued,
"Soon enough, everything it had built over the years, the centuries, gets turned to dust. The countless planets made of molten rock and soil, the skies which make rage on for decades, the ice that helps calm the world down, the overall force connecting it all, the several creatures that used those worlds as their homes. Everything gone...."
Even though this was somehow common knowledge for Surya, somehow, he could feel that was some ulterior meaning to what God was saying. As he got more horrified,
"Ever... everythi.."
STATIC STATIC
"That's the fate of a star... Being born somehow, then giving birth to countless lives, nurturing them... Only to kill them slowly and painfully as it gets stronger until it becomes too strong for its own good... As in the end, it too... Disappears into the nothingness of eternal darkness."
An innocent Antares, who only got more excited that his father was teaching him so many things about the world he came from asks with his fists raised high,
"Father, father, what happens then????"
