Chapter 1 : Prologue part 1

Grass rustling.

Someone's running through a dense forest.

[ System call ]

A holographic screen appears in front of that person's face.

" Answer ".

The person says this to the screen while running at full speed before jumping into the branch of a tree. The trees are truly giant and their branches just as thick. Like a wild beast, the person starts to travel through the branches. He's trying to go somewhere as fast as he possibly can. But then a voice comes from the screen,

" Surya???? You there ????"

The voice is that of a woman.

"I've been searching for you... The system doesn't connect all the time when you're in dungeons running quests... But it's been an entire month. "

The woman sounds very anxious.

" Anyway the architect told me that you're still in that forest... He wasn't particularly happy about it... You do realize that you don't have to finish all these quests at one go, right?? "

The voice of the woman is very mature and calm although she was sounding very worried.

"Hey, you there ???"

The man who was busy jumping through the trees came to the ground and stopped and replied,

"Yes, I'm here... I was just busy completing my quest... And also the location of the next boss is another 60 kilometers from here, so I thought might as well finish all of it at once."

The woman now sounding a little relaxed replied back,

" The last one has awakened."

The man now shocked at the unexpected reply asked back,

" Wait a second... Didn't you guys tell that finding me took so long because Antares was the strongest ??? How come this one took so long ?? Is this one even stronger??"

The man questions the woman on call and starts thinking to himself,

'Did they lie to me at the beginning then?'

But then the answer of the woman comes and all the suspicion goes away.

" No... Not really. This one was just very picky about his reincarnation... So he finally chose a girl from Brazil at the end saying that he found his perfect match."

' Another one chose to be of the opposite gender huh .'

The man starta thinking to himself as he replies back jokingly,

" So it's very similar to your case too."

"You done with your stupid jokes???"

The woman sounding very annoyed.

"Yes, ma'am."

The man replies while holding back his laughter,

" I just find this very weird honestly... I..I'm sorry, it won't happen again."

The woman now back to her calm tone replies back,

"Yeah, now back to the topic, since she's primarily a mage type with ranged melee combat, I thought it's the perfect time for your mage training as well... I won't be available for the next few days now, since 4 S rank gates have opened up in Korea alone... Diablo and I are going to be busy solving this situation so the architect is going to be teaching you the basics until I get back... Please welcome our new member properly... Apparently she's very talented."

" What was that? "The man asks.

"What was what?" The woman asks back, not understanding the question.

"That last remark... Your tone was awfully cheerful... Not to mention it came out of the blue." 

"I'm just trying to look out for you... I thought you might like her..." The woman replies in a caring tone.

" I already told you guys ... I'm done with all this." The man sounding very irritated now.

" Surya, I'm not saying that it needs to be her. I'm just trying to help you open up... You need someone to love in this world as well as someone who will love you too... This world is going to shit, who knows what's going to happen... At least we should try to spend our last few days with our friends and family."The woman's tone was now sounding very motherly.

" My family's dead.. look sis not everyone is as cool as big bro diablo... I'm truly happy for you guys but I'm going to spend my remaining days doing what I do best.."

The man's voice was shaking at first but became very adamant by the end.

The woman now replies, " Take your time... We're here for you.. you should know that."

"I know "

With that, the call ends and the screen disappears. And the man is left standing, thinking to himself,

' What I do best huh... I guess that's why you chose me right?? There's only one thing I'm capable of doing.' 

 The man says this as if talking to someone but quite obviously no reply comes from anywhere. With that, the man opens up his status window...

With that, the man looks kind of satisfied...And the status window disappears.

Then the face which looked happy until now turns into one full of anger... And as he got ready to jump into the sky... Mana from the surrounding started to gather around his legs and as he jumped... He finishes his line of thought with the following line,

" I'll destroy everything. "

 And disappeared into the sky.
