Chapter 11: The Beginning part 4

"The gate is going to open, is the perimeter ready??"

"Yes, master."

"Good... Then all squads get in position."

"Yes, master."

With that, all the hunters present got into their respective positions. Long-range attackers on the roofs of the buildings, tankers, and close-range melee fighters stayed in front of the gate. Some hunters stayed at the back to cover the perimeter so as to not let the monsters go on a rampage.

The guild master goes to a young girl,

"Asha, are you fine??"

Asha tried to reply confidently but it was very clear how nervous she was.

"Yes, I'm fine."

"This is our third A rank gate today, you don't have to fight in this one, it's fine if you want to rest."

"No, I can do it."

Her voice became a little bit more assertive than before as she replied to the worried guild master.

"Ok then stay within range of the others just in case."

The guild master was one of the only two S ranks other than Asha.

'Her sister would be proud of her but this is just not the way...'

"Ok then.

EVERYBODY GET READY!!!"

The guild master loudly gives his order to the rest of the hunters.

All the hunters in their positions ready their weapons as the entrance of the gate which was closed until now starts breaking apart.

CRACK

As soon as the first crack appears, something jumps out of the gate breaking the entrance entirely.

"Werewolves!!!! It's werewolves!!!!"

The vice guild master who was on one of the roofs with the archers and mages loudly announced the type of monsters that were coming out of the gate so that everyone present along with the perimeter squad is able to hear clearly.

At once 10 to 15 shadow werewolves came out of the gate and along with them the boss monster also came out of the gate.

The boss werewolf was nearly three times the size of the other werewolves which were themselves around 2 meters tall. But there was something else which was different about the boss monster. It had a faint greenish-blue light coming out of its chest.
