Chapter 15: Rising Temperature Part 3

As Asha tries to get up, she sees the fist of the elf coming towards her face inch by inch.

She tries to cover her face with her arms but it's pretty evident that she won't be able to block it.

With the headless corpse of the guild master lying near and with his blood smeared all over her, she sees as the fist reaches her nose. And then,

SMAAAAASSSSSHHHHHHHH

A huge explosion goes off because of the impact. Huge chunks of ground get blasted away and a giant cloud of dust covers the entire area.

As the dust clears, Asha opens her eyes and looks above. The vice master, angrily holding the fist of the elf. His eyes glowing and a golden aura covering his entire body.

"What the-"

The boss looks confused.

"Asha get your weapons."

He angrily orders Asha.

"Answer me, you piece of shit !!!!!!"

The bully yells loudly and picks up Surya by his collar.

Tears start forming in Surya's eyes as he furiously replies back,

"This was all because of this, huh."

He remembers the days when the little kids at the gym used to "humiliate" him. He thought of it as one of the worst things that had happened to him.

'I wanted to be the best..... Is that so bad?? I worked hard for it and they didn't... Then why should I feel bad for them? And yet... And yet.....'

Surya understood their pain.

He remembers what Asha told him about the bullies,

"They're just kids who don't know any better... They just feel bad that someone else is so much better than them. They can't understand the pain and sacrifice you have put so they don't feel bad about making fun of you."

'I was like this, wasn't I?... I didn't understand what others felt but now I do... That's why... That's why...'

"That's why I wasn't fighting back, you piece of shit!!!!!"

Surya forces himself out of the boy's grip and rushes at the one beside him.

"I felt bad because whenever I looked at you I imagined myself in your situation so I couldn't even think about fighting back!!!!"

He pushes the bully towards the ground.

"I'm done letting myself get punished because of your pain..."

As the bully falls, Surya grabs his leg and lifts him up like a bat, he hits the other two bullies with their own friend.

Skin so tough that even bullets can't penetrate it. The incredibly high durability of an awakened is what makes them so tough compared to normal people.

'You didn't know, right???? You didn't know the fact that without your durability, even as a normal human I'm stronger than you.'

"I worked hard, you assholes!!!!"

He picked the bully by his legs again and hit the other two on the ground using his body.

"Day and night... Over and over again... I endured...Not anymore."

He keeps hitting them.
