Sid collapses to his knees and looks around at his guild members.

'Six members dead.'

He then looks at Asha before getting up and starts walking towards the body of the guild master.

Tears start coming out of his eyes as a frustrated expression forms on his face.

'Why did you have to go too??'

"Dammit, dammit, dammit!!!!..How am I supposed to face your family???!!!How am I supposed to manage this guild, you idiot??!!!"

Every day, new members join their guild, and every day, those members get sacrificed at the hands of the shadow soldiers. Witnessing the death of his comrades was not a new thing for the 21-year-old vice master, but this... The death of the 27-year-old guild master, who kept all the members together was a loss too huge to be measured, to say the least.

He sits near his friend's lifeless body and starts mourning. A hand appears on his shoulders, he looks back and sees Asha also crying.

She bursts into tears,

" I'm sorry... I'm sorry, it happened because of me... It was because of my arrogance...I.. I'm sorry."

Sid replies, still looking towards the ground,

"Don't kid yourself, it was because of all of us... You see now, even as an S rank no one is safe."

"B... but..."

Asha replies hesitantly before Sid cuts her off.

"Look kid, what's more important for you now is to decide if you still want to continue this... Just because your body is strong doesn't mean that you're suited to fight, at least not yet. I'm not like him, if you still want to fight, I'll allow it but I can't ensure your protection as he did."

Then suddenly a gate appears on the side.Everyone present stood up as quickly as their bodies allowed. They had just fought a fruitless battle and were only starting to come to terms with what had happened.

"What is this terrifying energy???"

Sid starts thinking to himself.

'There's still some time left, we have to contact the nearby guilds, if some hunters are on patrol then...'

"Everyone wait, we still have an hour or so, we have to call in reinforcements."
