Surya tries to punch as hard as possible but alas, the skin of the hunters which allows even the weakest among them to be bulletproof, doesn't let him hurt his opponents.

He punches again, but the other guy dodges.

Laughingly, he says,

"Hey, what's the deal?? You've gotten a lot stronger than before, did talking with a girl for so long amp you up or something??"

Then one of the two other guys grabs his collar from the back.

BAAAAMM

And throws him towards the wall from over his head.

'You bastards, what do you know about working hard.'

Surya falls to the ground.

'Yes, I look down on others and I can't stand when others who are undeserving of their accomplishments become better than me.'

But he tries to get up.

'Because there are also others, who I look up to. People who deserve their strength.'

Stumbling, he still tries to stand up.

'My heroes who work day and night to make their own dreams come true.'

He stands up still not as straight but he gets up.

'The girl who's all alone because of me but still tries to fight for herself in this wretched world.'

"Hey, look at his face."

"Oh, you're right... The bastard thinks he can beat us."

'I want to become strong, so strong that even someone like her looks up to me... So strong that others don't even hope to cross me... So strong that someone like her can depend upon me.'

Surya yells out.

"Try and come at me, you bastards."

One of the bullies hits him with a hook right across his face.

Somewhere else, near a gate.

The boss monster, a forest elf, puts a wide smile on his face and says,

"Beautiful."

The guild master tells the vice and Asha,

"Hey, you two, look like the bastard wants to fight us all together."

The vice replies,

"You gotta be joking, there's no way he can take us like this."

The three S ranks start surrounding him,

"The guy was hoarding all the mana inside him, all that mana coming out otherwise would have made this gate an S rank. I can feel it "

Asha intervenes as the boss is still calmly looking downwards.

"A surge that huge must have alerted the other guilds, so others must be arriving soon, right??"

"It might take 5 minutes or more, we have to at least keep him busy until then."

The guild master worriedly replies and continues,

"Sid, today might be it."

The vice angrily replies,
