Chapter 11 ◇ Night out ◇

Dandelion's perspective:
It's nearly time for our girls night out. I'm not going to lie I am really excited for this. I'm single again after being in a relationship for two years. I get to dance with strangers and maybe kiss strangers too. This is actually the first time I'm going clubbing single.

Lorna and I take turns making lunch. Today happens to be her turn. "So, what have you decided to make for lunch?" I ask her. "I'm making spaghetti and meatballs" she replies to me. "Sounds delicious, do you need any help?" I ask her. "No thanks, but thanks for offering" she replies to me. "No problem" I reply back to her.

I go back to my room. I decide to go on social media. I scroll through my timeline on twitter. I'm actually kind of surprised there's no pictures of Calum and I spreading on here. It's kind of weird considering I spent time with him at those cafes twice. I guess no one wanted to take pictures of him both of those times.

Lorna then enters my room to tell me lunch is ready. I then follow her to the kitchen to have some lunch. I then take a plate and serve myself some of the spaghetti and then some of the meatball pasta sauce. I get myself some cutlery too. Lorna serves herself after I've served myself. We then go to the living room and watch a movie together on TV; it's a romance movie. After a few minutes we're done eating and I take both Lorna's and my own plates and cutlery to the sink.

"Are you excited for tonight?" Lorna asks me. "Of course I am, what about you?" I reply to her and ask her the same thing back. "Yeah I am too" she replies to me. "Are we still ordering pizza for dinner?" I ask her. "Yep, we are" she replies to me. After about 2 hours the movie we were watching finishes. "We're leaving at 8:30 pm right?" I question her. "Yep, we're leaving at 8:30 and Alexis said she'll be here at 8:15" she answers me.

We watch another 2 movies; a comedy and a drama. Then we order our desired pizzas. It arrives about 20 minutes after we placed our order. We then watch our favourite TV series and finish our pizzas. We then turn off the TV and go to our rooms to get ready.

I change into the outfit Lorna and I picked out earlier. I look in the mirror admiring my reflection. I then put on some make up. I almost look like a different person in this outfit. It's so me though. Everything I wore while going out with Chase was what he wanted me to wear and not what I wanted to wear. I feel so much more free now that I've broken up with Chase. He was so controlling and when I didn't listen to him he would threaten me. I was so blinded by the thought that he'll change and become a better person that I didn't really realise the effect that being in that relationship had on me.

I then go to our living room. Lorna is already ready to go too. "You look amazing Dandelion" Lorna compliments me. "Aww thanks Lorna, you do too" I thank her and compliment her back. "Thank you" she thanks me. "You're welcome" I reply to her. Then we hear our doorbell ring. That must be Alexis. I go to open the door. "Hi Alexis" I greet her gesturing for her to enter. "Hi Dandelion" she greets me back whilst entering our house.

"Both of you look gorgeous" Alexis compliments both Lorna and I. "Thanks, so do you" both Lorna and I say together and laugh. "Thanks" she replies to us. "Shall we leave now?" Lorna asks us. "Sure, who's calling the taxi?" I reply and ask them a question. "I will" Alexis answers me as she picks up the phone and calls us a taxi. After about 10 minutes the taxi arrives and the three of us get in. We then tell the driver where we're going. We don't say much to each other during the journey to the club.

We finally reach the club. We get out of the taxi and Alexis paid the fare for all of us. We kind of had an argument with her about this but she insisted on paying so we had to give up the argument. We then show the guards our IDs and enter the club. "Let's get drinks!" Lorna shouts to us over the loud crowd and music. "Sure!" I shout back and Alexis and I follow Lorna to the bar area. We then order our desired drinks and make our way to the seating area.

We take a seat at one of the unoccupied booths. We then drink our drinks. "So, has anyone here caught your attention?" Alexis asks us. I look around the area. I then spot Chase and that girl he had with him at the shopping centre and roll my eyes in their direction. "Nope, what about you?" I reply to her. "No" Lorna replies too. "Nah no one here yet" she replies back to me. Just then the volume of the crowd in the club increases. Almost everyone is staring at the entrance of the club. I look in the direction almost everyone else is looking curiously.

A few minutes later the 5SOS guys along with some of their team enter the club. Some people literally faint. "OMG! I didn't expect them to be here" I tell my friends. "Me too" Lorna replies to me. "I think it's an appropriate time to repeat my question, has anyone here caught your attention?" Alexis asks her question from earlier to us for the second time tonight. "Of course!" Lorna replies to her while her eyes are still focused on the 5SOS guys. "Maybe, you?" I reply back to her. "Obviously" she replies to me. This night just got a lot more entertaining than I expected it would.
