A Unforgettable Trip: Chapter 6: Telling The Truth

Your phone was still beeping at you. You swallowed hard & turned to Adam next to you.

"Harmony, just do it. Pick up the phone & tell her what's going on. It's time enough for her to know."

Adam says as you take a deep breath, pick up your phone, & answer the call from your mother, Emma...

"Hi Mom. Why are you calling me if I just did a little while ago?" You ask. "Oh I'm just calling again because I wanted to know if you wanted this candle we found. Your father smelled it & he says it would suit you but the name of the candle is Leather & Embers. Do you think you would like to have it?"

Emma says as you think for a moment.

"Yeah I like the name I'll see what it smells like later." You say. "Ok well we're now on our way back to the hotel let me know if you need us to come pick you up at anytime." Emma says.

It was time. It was time to tell her the truth of what you really have been doing in Brooklyn.

"Hey, Mom? You still their?" You ask. "Yup I'm still here, what's up." Emma says. "Mom... I need to tell you something... Something important... Can you come over to where I'm at. I'll text you the address." You say. "Ok, thank you Harmony I just received your message I'm on the way. Your father is also coming too." Emma says. "Ok, just don't be mad when I tell you about everything when you get over to where I'm at." You say. "Ok, bye Harmony. See you in a few." Emma says as you hang up.

"So? What did you say?"

Adam asks as you turn to look up at his elegant face.

"I told them to come over here so I can tell them both in person & introduce you to them without spreading watery tears all over my phone."

You say as you wipe your eyes.

"So how is this gonna go down."

Adam asks as you bite your lip.

"I don't know... Adam, I'm scared." You say. "Don't be, you'll be fine. I'll be their right with you when you tell them. Don't be afraid."

Adam says as he moves your hair out of your face.

"Thanks Adam." You say as he nods. "So when should they get here?"

Adam asks as you hear a car horn go off.

"Is that them already?!" You say as you begin to panic. "Here let me check. What car are they in?"

Adam asks as he goes over to the front window near the kitchen table.

"Their in a red Jeep Wrangler similar to yours but red." You say as he looks. "I don't see anyone I think just someone forget to lock their car or something. Don't worry stuff like that happens all the time around here."

Adam says as you calm down a little bit.

"So you asked me this but I never did to you. So, are you ready to be a mother?" Adam asks. "Honestly Adam I am ready to be a Mom but it would be difficult. Epically for me because I would have to get him or her & do all that crazy stuff. Adam I don't think I'm ready."

You say as Adam puts a hand on your shoulder.

"Harmony, your ready. You just don't know it yet."

Adam says as you tear up & hug Adam.

After about an hour passes you look out the window to see your parents in the red Jeep parking up along the street. You were scared shitless but you knew if you didn't tell them the truth now they would never find out. So it's best if they do find out what's going on with you in your life that your living with Adam Driver.
