A Unforgettable Trip: Chapter 14: It's Time

8:00AM

It was early morning in Brooklyn & you, Harmony Ocean. Were asleep on your bed naked with Adam.
You didn't think you went all out with Adam last night with the whole sex thing but apparently you did. Because you woke up to see Adam himself & yourself naked.
You were bright red when you saw yourself naked. So you went into your closet & grabbed a lovely pink dress your mother gave to you when you went to your first dance in elementary school.
After you slipped that on you took a deep breath & went over to your dresser next to grab a new pair of underwear & jeans including a bra.

Once you took care of getting dressed you got back on the bed & tried to wake up Adam.
He didn't budge. He was fast asleep & could barely feel your fingers rub against his lips.
So you roll your eyes for a moment & get out of the bed & head downstairs to have breakfast.
But just as you reached the middle stair of the staircase you felt your body twitch.

Ok, that was probably my period starting. Great! Now I have to walk back up the stairs just to go to the bathroom. Maybe next time Adam decides to buy me a house he buys me one with 2 bathrooms. I'll tell him when he gets up out of my bed.

You say to yourself.
As you climb the stairs you feel it again now you were getting scared & then it happened. Your water broke right at the top of the stairs.
You couldn't move. Even if you wanted to you couldn't.

Shit.
My f*cking water just broke what should I do. Ok I really hate to do this but I'm waking up Adam by calling his name obnoxiously.

"Adam!!! Babe!" You call screaming. & a moment later you see Adam with his pants on with his shirt still off.
"Harmony what's...." Adam pauses. He knew it was time to go.
"Harmony don't move or anything I'm gonna call 9-1-1." Adam says as you don't move off of the step while Adam grabs his phone & dials 9-1-1.

"9-1-1 what is your emergency?" The operator says. "Hi my wife is pregnant & her water just broke on the stairs I need an Ambulance over here." Adam says. "Ok how old is this girl, what is her name, & how many months pregnant is she?" The operator asks. "She's 23 years old, her name is Harmony Ocean & she's 8 months pregnant." Adam says as he just stares at you on the stairs as you try to hold in the pain. "Ok how far is she into labor." The operator asks. "I don't know but right now she's trying to hold in the pain." Adam says. "Ok don't have her push yet just deep breaths the Ambulance is 2 minutes away until they arrive stay on the phone with me. What's your name?" The operator asks. "My name is Adam Driver & I'm 37. Yes I'm a famous actor." Adam says. "Ok I just got updated that the Ambulance is now their so I'm gonna let you go ok. Bye."

The operator says as Adam hangs up & looks at the front door of the house to see two female paramedics entering the door with their medical equipment to help you deliver baby Ashley.

"Hi Harmony I'm Amy & this is my helper here Isabella how are you doing?" Amy asks.
"Bad enough." You say. "Ok don't puss alright. Isabella go get the stretcher." Amy says as Isabella nods & runs over to the back of the ambulance to grab the stretcher.
"Ok Harmony I'm gonna come up to you & sedate you so your gonna pass out alright. 3... 2...1..."
Amy says as your eyes immediately shut & you pass out.
"What are you gonna do know?" Adam asks as Isabella arrives with the stretcher.
"Well can you carry her down to the stretcher & lay her down?"

Amy asks as Adam nods & picks you up& lays you calmly on the stretcher.

"Ok nice work. Let's get her to the hospital. Feel free to sit in the back Adam." Amy says as she carries you out to the Ambulance on the stretcher.

Once Amy locks the stretcher in place in the back of the ambulance Adam gets in the back with you while Amy & Isabella stay up front & drive towards the closet hospital.

By the time you wake up you see yourself in a basic hospital room with your legs propped up on small leg holders & then you see a long white blanket covering your legs completely.
You knew you were in the hospital & about to give birth.
You keep looking around the whole room to see if Adam was their with you & suprisely he was. He was holding on to your hand calmly trying to relax you.

You could tell you had a breathing mask on it was easy for you to tell & then you saw a bunch of nurses & doctors enter your room. Now you were frightened.

"Hi Harmony I'm sure your scared right now but don't be. Your in a good place right now just your about to give birth to a healthy baby girl but before you can see her you gotta take deep breaths & push. If you can do that & not pass out on us this will go very nicely.
Now whenever your ready you can go on ahead & push. Adam is here with you don't worry."
Doctor Amber says as you take your first long breath & push.

You were in the labor for about 6 hours & then finally Ashley was out. When you saw her for the first time she was beautiful. You wanted to cry listening to her own self cry but you didn't because the nurses took her away for a bit to get Ashley all cleaned up & everything.

"Harmony girl, you did it." Adam says as he claps then all the other nurses in the room clap as well.
Even though you were really weak you liked how kind everyone was to you in the delivery room. You felt very welcomed.
Once all the nurses leave & everything Adam & you talk for a little bit & then the paramedic, Amy brings you your baby.

"You wanna hold her Harmony?" You nod as Amy sets down the baby in your arms & you immediately begin crying when you see Ashley's face.
Adam didn't as much but you could tell that his eyes were watery.
"Thank you Amy. You can go now."
You say as Amy smiles & leaves the room shutting the door as she leaves.
