A Unforgettable Trip: Chapter 8: "Who is Joanne Tucker?"

It was early morning in Brooklyn & you wake up at 6:00AM in the morning to see Adam kissing your lips.

Once you open you eyes & see him he stops.

"Adam... It's 6:00 in the morning why are you doing this at this time in the morning..."

You say as you yawn.

"I just wanted to make sure you felt loved & happy this morning."

Adam says as he kisses you again but on the cheek.

"Well that's sweet of you but I'm still tired so can you like go do something despite be on the bed with me while I'm trying to sleep." You say. "Sure. I'll go do something else. Should I bring you breakfast in bed?" Adam asks. "Oh my god! Yes! I've always wanted to have breakfast in bed! yes I want food in bed."

You say as Adam smiles & walks over to the kitchen.

Once Adam leaves towards the kitchen you decide to grab your phone & call your friend, Emily early.

*Ring... Ring...*

"*yawn* Hello?" Emily says. "Hi Emily good morning." You say. "Oh hi Harmony good morning to you. So how are things with you & Adam? Everything going good?" Emily asks. "Yeah this morning he's giving me breakfast in bed because he's just that kinda guy who's always wanting to be nice & do something special for that one person which right now is me. But how are things with you?" You ask. "Actually not good. My Mom found out she has cancer so we're trying to stay healthy & safe from her but yeah, right now it's really hard for me & my Dad right now... Well I should probably go back to bed & rest I'll talk with you in the afternoon. Bye."

Emily says as she hangs up.

Once you finish talking with Emily you put your phone back on the nightstand besides you & lay in the bed until Adam returns back to you with breakfast & coffee.

"Thank you Adam."

You say as he just smiles & walks away while you eat in the bed & have coffee at 6:00 in the morning.

When you finish having breakfast you get up & head to the kitchen to find Adam leaning against the side of his fridge looking at his phone.

"Adam what are doing?" You ask.

Adam was replying to a text message from Joanne & he was very focused on typing than talking.

"Ok... Well thanks again for bringing me breakfast in bed. I'm gonna go get dressed see you later I guess."

You say as you walk back to the bedroom to go & get dressed & ready for the day today.

When you finish getting dressed you do your hair real quick & then something on one of the nightstands catches your attention.

You go over to see it was a picture of Adam & another girl. You stood their for a moment & just looked until Adam came in the room.

"Adam... Who is this?"

You say as you just look at him.

"Here, Harmony come sit I have to tell you something I should've said when we met the first time at the park."

Adam says as he leads you to sit down on the bed & talk.

"So who's this girl."

You say as you show Adam the picture.

"That Harmony... Is Joanne Tucker." Adam says. "Who's Joanne Tucker? & how do you know her?" You ask. "I know her because she's my... Wife." Adam says.
