A Unforgettable Trip: Chapter 9: 9-1-1

"This is 9-1-1 what's your emergency."

"My girlfriend is having bad stomach pains & she's pregnant I need an Ambulance now!"

Adam says yelling through the phone.

"What is her name & what's yours sir."

"I'm Adam Driver my girlfriends name is Harmony. I don't know her last name but please she needs medical attention." Adam says.

"Ok we have an Ambulance & an officer on the way don't move her or anything yet the paramedics will take care of her."

The operator says as Adam sighs & ends the call.

"Adam are they..."

You run out breath & Adam speaks.

"Yes Harmony, their on the way just stay with me. Everything will be ok I promise just stay alive."

Adam says as your breathing increases & before you knew it you passed out.

Once the paramedics get to the house they find Harmony still unconscious but breathing so they take her into the Ambulance & Adam tags along on the ride to the hospital.

In the Ambulance Adam sits & looks at you most of the time worried if you & the baby are alright.

Then suddenly you open your eyes & see Adam next to you.

"Adam..." You say.

You had a breathing mask on at this point but Adam heard you call his name.

"Harmony, oh thank god. Your in the Ambulance right now their bringing you to the hospital to get checked out. Are you ok?" Adam says.

"I'm fine just... I'm worried about the baby." You say. "I'm sure the babys fine just for now you need to relax & calm down we don't want you to go unconscious again so just relax. I'm right here by your side, now don't be afraid or worried. Just be calm."

Adam says as you take a deep breath & hold onto Adams hand on the railing of the stretcher.

Once you get to the hospital they send you & Adam to a separate room to wait for the doctor. While you & Adam wait you both talk amongst each other.

"Adam. What's your favorite film you have filmed or worked on."

You ask laying in the bed.

"Oo, that's a hard one. Can I choose 2?" Adam asks. "Go on ahead." You reply. "Well first, Logan Lucky... Then I would have to say Blackkklansman. You see those two films? If so which one was your favorite?"

Adam asks as you sit up in the bed & look away for a second & then back at Adam.

"God damn. Honestly your Flip Zimmerman role was my most favorite." You say. "Really? Wow."

Adam says as you smile & then the doctor comes in & closes the door behind her.

"Hi you must be Harmony & Adam. Nice to meet you two I'm doctor Amber. so, Harmony. Your pregnant with a baby & your saying that your stomach was hurting. Can you tell me what happened before you felt pain?"

Amber asks as you turn to look at Adam. Adam just nods telling you to tell the doctor the truth. You nod back & turn to look back at Amber.

"Well before I felt pain me & Adam were drinking & getting drunk. & then I felt pain & Adam called." You say.
"Ok well thank you for telling me the truth most patients never do that but anyways. Getting high & drinking can affect the overall growth of your baby so what I suggest is that we monitor the baby in your stomach through this machine here. You ok with doing that?"
