🎄Chapter Twenty Five.🎄

After the very angry mob of people, they had all gone inside.

They had literally barged into the room like crazy, almost falling on the floor.

People were swarming them, causing them to stumble backwards into the door.

Kodaviah almost fell- Brandy did.

When Kodaviah had realised this, he had helped her up, watching her as she had cleared the dust on her clothes via a lint roller.

"You okay?"

She nodded, before asking Kodaviah the same question, and he had said that he was okay too.

He had watched it as Brandy had put the lint roller in her bag, kind of raising an eyebrow at her at the same time.

Brandy wasn't aware of this.

"What, so you just keep a lint roller on you?"

"You never know when it can come in handy," she had smiled at him, Kodaviah just smirking at her.

They really needed to find J Star Valentine as well as Shawntae though, to remind them of who they actually were.

They had seen them coming, hiding underneath some door.

Nah, Shawntae, I'm telling you! J Star had smiled at her, as they were about to head inside to let people in once and for all. This concert's finna be lit! No cap!

You sure bout that, J Star? She had questioned him. If you hadn't messed up the concert booking then more people would have actually been here right now.

The two of them had watched it as J Star had rolled his eyes at his girlfriend.

Whatever. I'm just glad you didn't break up with me.

Trust me, I wanted to, she had argued back. Boy, mess up something that big again and imma leave you for good, and this girl ain't tripping. You got that?

He nodded.

They were lowkey just about to head inside.

"Kodaviah." Brandy had said to him, looking up at him.

He had done the same thing to her, but because she was kneeling down and he wasn't, he had therefore looked down on her and not up at her instead.

"We can't just hide in here. We have to talk to both of them eventually."

"Yeah, I get you. Let's do so now."

They didn't even have to do anything to be honest, because J Star had already seemed to know who they were.

Not yet though.

Brandy had gone up to him mainly because Kodaviah didn't want to do so himself.

They were just about to head outside to let people in, that was until the girl had come in, calling J Star Valentine's name loud enough to wake up the dead.

From their eternal sleep.

"J Star Valentine?"

He had turned around, after jamming out the song Let Me Blow Ya Love by him and Gwen Stefani.

They had combined that with the original song aka Let Me Blow Ya Mind by Gwen Stefani as well as Eve too.

Even though Shawntae didn't seem to happy to see Brandy- J Star Valentine was, which was all that had really mattered to be honest.

"And who are you?"

"Aye, aye, chill," J Star Valentine had interrupted, before then unexpectedly putting an arm around Brandy. "She's the girl my uncle said I should give front row tickets to because her mother and brother only have twenty seven days left to live."

Brandy had corrected him that it was twenty days now, but luckily they were still alive.

J Star Valentine was apparently better with names than faces, and thank God for that too because if it was the other way around then goodness knew what the hell they would have done.

"Hold up, you still remember that?"

"Of course, man," he grinned. "I kinda forgot your name though. Been a while. Plus where's your lil friend?"

Brandy didn't know what he was talking about, then when Kodaviah had face palmed himself from the other end of the room?

She had remembered everything.

She had told him to come out, and he did, with both of them being introduced to Shawntae and vice versa.

She had apologised for being rude to Brandy earlier.

"Your mother and brother really have only twenty days left to live?"

She nodded vey solemnly.

"Dami. I'm sorry to hear that."

Brandy had told her that it was fine because it wasn't exactly their fault, with J Star telling them that they had to ask them something.

They could have done so now and they also would have initially done so, but they didn't because they had a concert to start.

Everybody had entered the room with Brandy trying to find Esther Marie from the crowd as Kodaviah had done the same thing with Khamil.

Esther Marie didn't seem too happy earlier on because Brandy and Kodaviah had told her and Khamil to save their spaces for them.

Only for them to go to the front of the line.

Completed backstabbed them.

They had almost gotten into trouble as well because they weren't allowed to save spaces.

This was to make it fair on other people.

Esther Marie had forgiven Brandy, with her having the second row seats as Brandy and Kodaviah had gone to the front row seats of the concert instead.

Now it was time to actually start the concert.

Goodness knew what J Star wanted to talk to both of them about though.

Brandy couldn't hardly wait to find out this.
