Xoras Galaxy (Discontinued)

Chapter 1: Hello, Nelson Family.

"Honey, how will we tell the kids?" said Jennifer, in a rather scared yet comfortable voice, "I don't know.." "We have to tell them eventually, Nasa expects us to find what's out there! we can't give it up, think about the future, our journey would be written in history.. think about it."

"I don't even know if humanity can even reach that far." said Greggory, "Oh for gods sake Greg! we are in 2095, of course, we can reach it!" "Do you think we should tell the kids today?" "I think so, and it is going to be a very long journey." "Alright."

present-day:

After a long day, Jennifer's boss announced that the Family will be traveling to Xoras Galaxy. When Jennifer heard this, she was extremely excited. "The Xoras Galaxy, has a lot of planets that is almost the same as Earth, there could be life living in them," said Jennifer's boss "When are we going there?" "In two weeks." "two weeks? is the Skylar ready?" "Yes, Jennifer." Once she finishes her job, she immediately drove back home with huge news. Excited, she accidentally kicked the door, scaring everyone. 

"Aah!" shouted the family. "Please! take care of the door!" said Liam. "Oh, sorry. I got big news, everyone!" said Jennifer, "Yes, Honey?" "We are going to the Skylar!" "When? Why?" said the youngest child, Amelia. "First, Nasa told me that we would be going in 2 weeks, next Saturday to be exact. Second, we have to go, because this would prove that life really does exist and we are not the only ones in the universe." "Honey, we need to discuss this privately, come," Greggory said as they went into their room.

Greggory locked the door and began to talk. "Jen, are you sure we should be doing this? I mean.. think about our family on earth, think about our children's friends, we will be gone in a long time!" "As we discussed nine months ago, humanity's future depends on us, we can't just say no, I have already filed our information and our id, there's no turning back now," said Jennifer, in a serious tone. "Fine, what's our destination anyway?" "Xoras Galaxy." "Give me some information about this galaxy." "Well, this galaxy has a lot of solar systems; some of these solar systems have planets that are located in the Goldilocks zone." "and?" "Nasa has discovered that there is some vegetation on these planets, so Nasa told me that there might actually be life living on these planets, so they will send us to find out." "and how many solar systems should we travel to?" "nine." There was silence in the room for a minute, Greggory knew that whatever decision he makes will affect the future and their children's future.

"fine, I will allow us all to board the ship." "Yes! Thank you so much!" said Jennifer while kissing and hugging Greg.

Slowly, the parents turned the doorknob, unlocking the door; revealing the blinding yet warm lights from the window. "Kids! We decided that we are going to the Skylar!"
Everyone started shouting and cheering "hooray!" except Amelia. "Dad, how about my dollhouse?" asked Amelia, "of course, Hon, we will bring your dollhouse." "Hooray!" now, the family is shouting and cheering to the point that the neighbors had gone to their door.

"wait, how about our school?" said Oliver. "you all are going to have online classes on the ship. So it doesn't mean you won't have school for a long time, Oliver." said Jennifer with a grin on her face.

The family soon went to sleep, dreaming of aliens, or Barbie princesses in a ship, or being famous; whatever their dream was, they had a good night.
