Out of My League (Tzukook Fanfic)

Dahyun sighed when she noticed Tzuyu just staring blankly into space. Tzuyu hasn't always been like this. But it changed when in their younger years, people would crowd Tzuyu even more if she is to smile or even talk a little. So she decided to just kept quiet and not smile to distance herself from others. Dahyun hopes that their high school years would be a better experience for Tzuyu.

"Tzuyu definitely gives off that calm and mature feeling huh." A voice from near them said.

"Please let's get along well." Tzuyu replies to the voice.

"Eh?"

"I can talk you know."

"Oh, I'm sorry haha. My name is Chaeyoung, it looks like we'll be seatmates. Nice to meet you."

Dahyun then turns to their new classmate then introduces herself "Hi, I am Dahyun. Tzuyu and I will be in your care."

"Classes are starting now, please go to your seats now!" Their teacher says.

"And please boys look towards the front and not at the back!"

A month later

"I'll be the one walking her home!"

"No, it should be me who should take her home!"

"Who said that? It's me who will be taking her home, not you!"

Dahyun looks annoyed at the boys arguing around them on who should walk Tzuyu home, as if they don't already noticed that she's the one who walks Tzuyu home.

"Tch, the nerve of this boys trying to have some time with Tzuyu alone." Dahyun mutters to herself.

"Tzuyu you should stick with me." Dahyun tells to her bestfriend beside her.

Meanwhile during the chaos that is happening, Tzuyu can't help but noticed that among all the boys around her, only one boy isn't looking her way. She noticed as that boy and his friend ran passed her that he never even once looked at her direction or acknowledge her presence.

"Oi!"

Dahyun and Tzuyu startled when somebody suddenly invaded their personal space.

The guy suddenly leaned close to Tzuyu and said "Woah, you are even more beautiful up close. Shall I walk you home?" While suddenly grabbing Tzuyu's bag forcefully.

Tzuyu trembled in fear as she remembers the reason why she don't talk or smile that much since boys will always do this to her.

Dahyun seeing Tzuyu in fear exclaimed "Hey, give her bag back!"

"No, because I will be the one taking her home." The guy remarked then proceeds to dump the bag's items into the ground.

"Excuse me but what are you doing to her?" A voice from behind the man said.

Jungkook shook his head as he noticed a lot of students crowding around somethin near the school gates. He knows it's probably the beautiful student who managed to capture almost everyone's hearts on their first day of school. Even his bestfriend seems to be a fan of the girl. Well he won't say it out loud but even he knows that the girl is truly beautiful. But unlike the others, he won't make a fool of himself and try to approach the girl when he knows he gets shy around girls. The truth is he has always been around boys so until he reach high school he doesn't know how to act around girls and tends to get shy so he just avoids girls as to not embarass himself.

"Jungkook what are you doing there? Come on we are going to be late for our karate practice if you just keep standing there." Jimin says to his bestfriend.

"Come on let's run so we won't be late." Jungkook replies.

Together the two of them ran passed the crowd towards to the gymnasium where they will have their practice all the while Jungkook is pretending that he haven't noticed the beautiful girl in the center of the crowd.

Jimin and Jungkook arrived at the gymnasium with still time to spare when they suddenly heard a girl screamed. They both looked towards the direction of the scream and saw that a guy was leaning close to Tzuyu.

"Huh? Isn't that Sungho, a guy a year above us? Is he trying to get close to Tzuyu?" Jimin mutters when suddenly Jungkook disappears beside him.

"Oi, Jungkook where are you going?!"

Jungkook didn't know what has gotten into him but all he knows is that no man should ever harass a woman. And that's why he runs to the direction behind Sungho and says darkly "Excuse me but what are you doing to her?"

Sungho slowly turns around to face Jungkook and asks mockingly "Who are you? Are you trying to be a knight in shining armor?"

Jungkook ignores him and goes to pick up the items in the ground and places it back on the bag.

"Hey! Don't you dare ignore me you brat!" Sungho yells and kicks Jungkook's back.

Jimin catches up to Jungkook then sees that Sungho is kicking his bestfriend.

"Stop kicking Jungkook, please don't anger him or you will regret it"

"Ah Jimin, you're finally here, grab him and hold him tight." Jungkook tells Jimin.

Jimin grabs Sungho and Jungkook suddenly spins with his right leg raised about to kick Sungho's head when his feet stopped just a hair's breath away from Sungho's head.

"Yah, I thought you were just going to punch him! Your feet could've also hit my head you know?!" Jimin exclaims.

"I'm sorry!" Sungho shouts as he rans away in fear.

"Woah amazing. He stopped Sungho."

"Who is he? He's so cool."

Jimin approaches Jungkook and says "Good thing you manage to scare him away and you saved Tzuyu here."

Jungkook just lowers his head feeling shy now that he remembers Tzuyu must have seen what he had done earlier. So he just continues to pick up the items on the ground.

"Thank you for helping me." A soft voice near him says that makes him look up.

Jungkook founds himself blushing and feeling shy again as he tries to not look into her eyes.

"It's fine. A man should never harass a woman right Jungkook?" Jimin says.

"Here." Jungkook then gives Tzuyu her bag while keeping his head lowered. When Tzuyu has accepted the bag, he suddenly runs away towards the gymnasium.

"Oi Jungkook wait for me!" Jimin shouts as he follows his bestfriend.

"Tzuyu are you okay? Thank God those guys helped us back there" Dahyun asks Tzuyu as they start to walk their way to home.

Tzuyu just nods in answer to Dahyun's question. Her mind is still full of what happened earlier. And she noticed that that boy didn't look at her again. Will he ever look at me? Tzuyu thinks.
