Out of My League (Tzukook Fanfic)

Jungkook sighs heavily as he stares at Jimin. Ever since Jimin received chocolates from Mina, he had been fidgety and nervous whenever Mina is near them. And that is to say it is almost every time since Mina is their classmate.

For Jungkook, it was really painful to watch his normally confident friend turn into a nervous mess around Mina just because he doesn't know what to make of her gift to him. Jimin didn't want to misinterpret and have false hope of Mina liking him.

Jimin admits that while he has noticed Mina a few times before, he has never seen her in that way. But strangely the thought of Mina possibly liking him doesn't make him feel weird, instead his heart flutters at that thought. And while he hopes that Mina might like him, he also knows he could be just misinterpreting the reason why she gave him chocolates. That maybe she was just pitying him since she heard him wanting to get more chocolates.

Having enough of Jimin's actions this past few days, Jungkook decides to help him out just like on how Jimin helped him out with Tzuyu before. After hearing the bell ring, Jungkook immediately stands and goes to Mina's seat. He had gathered his courage to talk to her because he knows Jimin needs this.

"Excuse me, Mina. Can I ask you if you giving those chocolates to Jimin has any meaning?" Jungkook blurts out.

Mina had been shocked to see Jungkook coming to her since she knows that Jungkook doesn't get close to girls except for his girlfriend and their group of friends. But she was even more surprised hearing his question to her, remembering the chocolate she has given Jimin made her blush.

Jeongyeon who had been sitting next to Mina sighed, "If she says it has deeper meanings, what will he do?"

"Jeongyeon!" Mina glares at her friend.

"What? I'm just asking what will he do. What if he decides to reject you?"

Mina was about to rebuke but she closes her mouth and purses her lips. This is why she didn't want him to know about her feelings in fear that he will reject her. She has already decided to like him in silence since she thinks it's better that way.

"Jimin has been thinking deeply about your gift to him. He doesn't want to misinterpret things and just wants clarifications," Jungkook says.

Truthfully, she wants to forget it since she believes she has made a fool out of herself with on how she had given him the chocolates but she didn't think that Jimin would think too deeply about it. "It's not a friendly gift," Mina sighs then blushes, "I like him."

Jungkook and Jeongyeon were both shocked at Mina's admission. Jeongyeon was shocked since her friend has told her many times that she won't ever confess and even begged her not to tell people that she likes Jimin but here Mina is admitting it to Jungkook, Jimin's bestfriend, that she has feelings for Jimin.

Jungkook was surprised, he had suspected that Mina might have feelings based on the shape and wrapping of the chocolate she had given Jimin. Now that he got an answer, it's time to tell Jimin and let him do what he wants to do with the information.

"Thank you for answering my question," Jungkook bows then goes back to Jimin who was watching their interaction.

"What did she say?" Jimin immediately asks as soon as Jungkook was back in his seat beside him.

Jungkook leans in and whispers, "It is what you think it is. It's not a friendly chocolate gift at all."

Jimin gasps and bows his head. So Mina truly has feelings for him. He had never thought of it before but now he can imagine himself and Mina being together.

Jungkook wants to tease Jimin since he can see him blushing even if his head is down. But Jungkook decides not to tease and just let him think. He had done his part and the ball is now on Jimin's hands and what happens next is entirely up to him.

Tzuyu feels a bit worried for Dahyun. Dahyun had been acting like everything's fine especially when Jimin is around but she knows that her bestfriend is hurting inside. What's worst is that she can't do anything to help her friend. Tzuyu can't exactly tell Dahyun to go and pursue Jimin since Jungkook had told her yesterday that Mina likes Jimin and it seems Jimin might have a little bit of feelings for Mina.

She never thought that Dahyun would ended up having feelings for Jimin. If only Jimin had also liked Dahyun then it wouldn't be like this but she understands that the hearts want it wants and in this case, Dahyun likes Jimin but Jimin likes someone else.

Tzuyu glances at Dahyun who was sitting down beside her. They were in Dahyun's house as Tzuyu wanted to check up on her bestfriend. Dahyun feeling Tzuyu stare at her says, "You really are my bestfriend. Without me saying anything, you already know what I'm feeling."

Not knowing what to say or how to comfort her with words, Tzuyu takes Dahyun's hands to give her some comfort.

"Well I guess, not everyone gets to date their first love," she glances at Tzuyu and smiles sadly, "You're lucky your first love became your boyfriend."

Tears welled up in Dahyun's eyes. Dahyun hadn't expected that this would happen to her. She knows that not all love would be requited and that some love would be unrequited, she just didn't expect she would experience it on her first love nervertheless.

"You know it's okay to cry, Dahyun," Tzuyu says hugging Dahyun close to her.

All of sudden Dahyun's tears burst. All the pent up emotion she has been holding for days had been freed. Dahyun cries hard into Tzuyu's shoulder while hugging her tightly.

Once her tears had stopped and she had calmed down, Dahyun pulls away from the hug. "Thank you, Tzuyu. And I'm sorry I've ruined your shirt," Dahyun still sniffling wipes her tears away.

Tzuyu smiles and helps Dahyun wipe her tears away, "It's fine. And besides you've always been there for me whenever I needed you so this time I'll be here whenever you need me."

Dahyun cracks a smile, "Well I told you when we were kids that we'll always be together so I'll always be there for you."

"And I'll always be here for you." The two laughs and the atmosphere lightens. Dahyun can feel her mood lighten after crying it all out. She had been bottling up her frustration and sadness for days, acting like she's fine when she's not whenever she sees Jimin stealing a glance at Mina in the hallways. But now she feels fine after sharing her feelings to Tzuyu.

"Are you really okay now, Dahyun?" Tzuyu asks wanting to make sure that everything's alright with her friend now.

Dahyun nods, "I will be fine. Don't worry."

Tzuyu smiles at her and grabs something from her bag. She hands over Dahyun some chocolates. "Here, for you."

Dahyun looks at Tzuyu questioningly, wondering why she is giving her chocolates now.

"You love chocolates right? So I cook some chocolates for you."

Dahyun chuckles and eats one piece. Tzuyu made the chocolate exactly to her liking. "You really know everything about me. I love this chocolate, Tzuyu." Dahyun proceeds to eat all the chocolates given to her.

Tzuyu smiles softly. She's glad she managed to cheer Dahyun up although she know Dahyun isn't completely fine just yet but atleast her friend is now better.
