Out of My League (Tzukook Fanfic)

Dahyun looks at the sight before her. Her best friend, Tzuyu, looks like she hasn't sleep a wink the night before. She has bags under her eyes but still looks beautiful.

"Tzuyu, are you okay? Are you sure you want to go to school? You can call in sick today and just take a rest." Dahyun grabs Tzuyu's hand and marches back towards Tzuyu's house.

Tzuyu stops Dahyun "I'm okay, I'll be fine."

"What happened to you? You sounded fine when we talk yesterday on the phone. Did something happen?"

Tzuyu just shrugs at the question. Dahyun sighs, noticing that Tzuyu would not budge. "Just tell me if you have any problems Tzuyu. You know I'm always here for you."

Arriving at school they were greeted by Chaeyoung. "Good morning Dahyun and Tzuyu! Eh what happened to you Tzuyu? You look like you stayed up all night." Chaeyoung frowns looking at her friend.

Just like what she did with Dahyun's question, Tzuyu just shrugs, not wanting to talk about what's bothering her, afraid she look foolish. Sensing that Tzuyu will not say anything, Chaeyoung quickly changes the subject.

"Anyway, I just got a part time job. Remember that I got interviewed almost two weeks ago, they just told me that I got the job." Chaeyoung excitedly says.

"Congrats." Tzuyu smiles at Chaeyoung.

"Congratulation Chaeyoung. Where did you apply? Can we visit you there?." Dahyun asks.

Chaeyoung grins "You know that cafe at the corner of the street? That's where I will work now after school hours. You guys can visit me there anytime. In fact, today will be my first day there, you guys can go with me there later."

Dahyun turns to Tzuyu "What do you think Tzuyu? We should go check out Chaeyoung's new workplace. Maybe we could get a discount."

Tzuyu nods in agreement. The three of them arrived in front of their classroom.

"Chaeyoung, Dahyun and Tzuyu good morning!" An excited Jimin greets them as he saw the three girls.

"Good morning."

"Good morning Jimin and Jungkook."

Tzuyu just keeps quiet, avoiding looking at the direction of the two boys. Jungkook notices this, Tzuyu may have been a quiet person but nowadays, she would always greet them every morning. So Tzuyu not greeting them today is quite a bit suspicious.

"Tzu-" Jungkook was about to say something when the bell rang signalling the students that class is about to start. Maybe later I can ask her during lunch what's wrong. Jungkook thinks as he and Jimin enter the classroom.

Jungkook immediately cleans his desk and gets his lunch box from his bag when Jimin stops in front of his desk.

"Jungkook, we won't be able to have lunch with the girls. Coach told me for us to meet him at the gym on our lunch break. He wants to talk about something."

"Oh."

Jimin sighs "I know you want to see Tzuyu but you don't have to look so sad. It's just for today."

Jungkook nods. Maybe tomorrow I can talk to her.

Next day

"How about we visit you at the cafe every other day Chaeyoung? So you will see familar faces as you work." Dahyun asks as the three girls walk towards their classroom.
