Out of My League (Tzukook Fanfic)

Jungkook stares at his shoes as he waits idly for others to come at the cinema. He feels self concious as he checked what he's wearing again. For some reason he wants to look good today. He sighs as he tries to ran his hand through his hair but his hat comes in the way. Stay calm, this isn't a date and besides Jimin and her friends will also be here. Jungkook looks around as he try to spot his friends when his heart start to flutter as he saw a figure slowly walk towards him.

"Hi Jungkook!" Tzuyu shyly waves at him as she start to near him. He looks cute in casual clothes and a cap Tzuyu thinks as she feels herself blush.

"Hi Tzuyu!" Jungkook greets back.

"Is Jimin here yet?"

"Ah no, I'm still waiting for him. Dahyun isn't with you?" Jungkook says as he noticed that Tzuyu is alone when normally Dahyun would always be beside her.

Tzuyu fidgets nervously "About that, Dahyun texted me earlier that she doesn't feel well so she couldn't go and Chaeyoung called me last night to inform me that she apparently have an interview for her part time work today."

"I see..." Jungkook says then looks down not knowing what else to say.

The two were in complete silence, both feeling too shy to start a conversation but it wasn't awkward silence at all as it a comfortable kind of silence. As quietness surrounds them, they both try to steal a glance at each other when the other isn't looking. Jungkook musters up his courage to say something or anything when the ring of his phone shatters the silence.

Jungkook sees the caller ID "Excuse me Tzuyu, I'll just take this call." Tzuyu nods at him and he quickly distances himself to answer the call.

Picking up the call, Jungkook quickly asks the caller "Jimin, where are you? We've been waiting for you here."

"Sorry Jungkook I won't be able to go. Jihyo wants me accompany her somewhere."

"Really? Now of all times?" Jungkook can't help but feel suspicious.

"I'm really sorry Jungkook. I promise I'll make it up to you next time."

Jungkook just sighs "Okay then."

"Enjoy your date Jungkook! Remember have courage or else Tzuyu will be taken by someone else." Jimin's voice chirpily says.

"Eh?! What do you mean date?! Jimin!" Jungkook asks but all he hears is the beeping as Jimin quickly drops the call.

Jungkook facepalms at what he heard. If Jimin, Dahyun and Chaeyoung weren't here then it means it will be just him and Tzuyu who will be watching the movie. It will really look like a date with just the two of us. Jungkook blushes at that but he suddenly realizes that it is too much of a coincidence for those three to be suddenly not available. Did they plan this? Jungkook can't help but think. Maybe telling Jimin about his feelings for a certain girl is really a bad idea.

Sighing defeatedly, Jungkook turns to go back to where Tzuyu is, only for him to see that several boys have crowded around her while he is gone. What are they doing to her? Fists clenching, he quickly rans to Tzuyu's side.

"Hey beautiful, wanna go with us?"

"Pretty girl, can I have your number?"

"Hey wanna go on a movie date with me?"

Boys have flocked around Tzuyu after Jungkook left her for a while. Feeling nervous and scared as the boys have started to come near her, she walks backwards trying to distance herself from them. This is why she normally won't go out alone in a crowded place without anyone to accompany her but Tzuyu still went alone since it was a chance to meet Jungkook outside of school.
