Out of My League (Tzukook Fanfic)

"Jungkook!"

Jungkook runs as he start to hear Sana yelling his name. Turning around the corner, he spots Jimin standing beside a tall plant and quickly hides behind it. Jimin raises his eyebrow at him and Jungkook says "It's Sana, help me hide please."

Sana turns around the corner and sees Jimin but no sign of Jungkook so she asks him "Jimin, have you seen Jungkook? He went around here."

"Ah no. I haven't seen him here."

"Is that so? Then please tell him not to run away whenever he sees me."

Feeling defeated, Sana leaves the hallway. Jimin then signs to Jungkook to get out of hiding.

"Seriously why don't you just date her? She's cute and she seems nice anyway."

"I don't like her enough to date her."

"But you could grow to like her as the two of you starts dating."

"Just no. I won't date her."

Jimin sighs as his friend continues to be stubborn. "You don't like her. Then is there someone you like? You're lucky someone like Sana likes you, if it were other boys they would have caved in now."

Is there someone you like? As soon as those words reach his ears, Tzuyu's face flashes in his mind. Heart racing and cheeks blushing at his sudden thought, he quickly shakes his head no at his friend's question.

"No there isn't anyone I like."

"Are you sure?" Jimin asks again as he notice on how Jungkook looks flustered.

"I'm sure. Come on let's get back class" Jungkook then makes way towards their classroom.

"Have you seen Jungkook?"

Tzuyu turns around as she hears Sana ask that question. Wondering who she is asking, she looks around the area and finds that she is the only one there. Tzuyu then shakes her head to the question.

"Seriously where did that guy go." Sana mutters as she looks around everywhere, looking for any sign of Jungkook.

"Annoying."

Sana turns around in shock as she hears Tzuyu speak. "Eh?! You're talking now? What? Annoying? Didn't you shake your head when I asked you if don't like me?"

Tzuyu then points to something and Sana follows the direction and sees Jungkook walking with Jimin. Sana gets ready to run to catch Jungkook when a hand grabs her arm, stopping her movement.

"What are you doing? Let go. If you don't let go I will consider you as my rival for Jungkook."

Several seconds passed and Tzuyu still haven't let go. She is staring directly at Sana's eyes. Sana seeing that Tzuyu don't have plans on letting go, pulls her arm away from the grip.

"I see that you made your decision. You do your best and I will also do mine but there is only one person who will date Jungkook and that is me."

"Good Morning." A voice softly greets Jimin and Jungkook as they walk to their classroom. Jungkook startles and sees Tzuyu looking at them.

"Did she just speak? I thought she don't like talking to anyone." Jimin whispers to Jungkook as they pass Tzuyu by.

Don't like talking to anyone? Then why does she only speak to me? Jungkook thinks as he recalls Tzuyu speaking to him. He feels silly thinking that he is the only guy Tzuyu is speaking to. Or am I just misuderstanding it? Jungkook's chest tighten at the thought of him just imagining things between him and Tzuyu.

"Jungkook, Chaeyoung invited us to eat lunch with them at the rooftop. Is it okay with you?"

Every day since she figured out her feelings for Jungkook, as soon as she wakes up, Jungkook's smiling face is the first thing that comes to her mind. Every day her routine had been normal. Wake up, take a shower, eat breakfast, go to school with Dahyun, then greet Chaeyoung at school, listen to the teacher and study. But since that day, she has been wanting to speak even if just few words to Jungkook.

"The school has changed." Tzuyu mutters softly as she gets her things ready for their next subject.

Chaeyoung suddenly pulls Tzuyu towards the classroom window. "Look Tzuyu, Jungkook's class is outside now."

Tzuyu then goes behind Chaeyoung as she shyly peeks at Jungkook. Will he smile again this time? Tzuyu thinks as she watch every movement Jungkook made. And as if hearing her thoughts, Jungkook smiles as Jimin shares a joke with him. Seeing him smile, Tzuyu feels elated that she hugs Chaeyoung suddenly.

"Woah what's up Tzuyu?" Chaeyoung asks in shock.

"Eh? Were you happy that he smiled? So cute." Dahyun teases Tzuyu.

Cheayoung then remembers something "Oh, I have invited Jimin and Jungkook to have lunch with us. Tzuyu is that okay?"

Tzuyu just hugs Chaeyoung even tighter, feeling excited at the thought of having lunch with Jungkook.

"Come on Jungkook, we have to hurry." Jimin says as he drags Jungkook to the rooftop. Jungkook feels shy thinking of eating lunch with Tzuyu.

"Sorry we're a bit late." Jimin apologizes as they arrived at the rooftop.

"No it's fine, we just got here also." Chaeyoung replies as she takes out her lunch box.

The five of them formed a circle so they could face each other while eating. Everyone is enjoying eating while sharing stories except for Tzuyu and Jungkook who were eating silently the whole time, too shy to speak in the presence of each other.

"...and then Jungkook suddenly screams, so our teacher yells at our class to be quiet." Jimin teases Jungkook as he shares the story.

Jungkook unable to stay quiet any longer, defends himself "I wouldn't have screamed if it weren't for you jabbing me with a pencil hard."

"But you were zoning out and I have to get your attention somehow. How am I supposed to know you will scream loudly when I did that." Jimin fires back.

Soft laughter fills the air as they turn to look at Tzuyu laughing softly at the story. Jungkook becomes mesmerized seeing Tzuyu laugh for the first time since they met. If I thought her smiling looks beautiful, her laughing is even more so. Jungkook feels his heart flutter at the sight he is seeing that he suddenly punches Jimin's arm hard.

"Oi, what was that for?" Jimin rubs his arm as he looks angrily at Jungkook but he notices that his friend is blushing while looking at the still laughing Tzuyu.

I'm falling for her. Jungkook thinks as he continue to watch Tzuyu laugh, heart warming at the sound.

Author's Note:
They now both realized their feelings for each other so expect that things will really start to progress with their relationship from now on.

Another trivia, I actually debated with myself on who would be Tzuyu's childhood bestfriend. It was supposed to be Chaeyoung but I changed it to be Dahyun for story purposes which you will find out  why later on. Other twice and bts members will also start to make an appearance in the future so watch out for that.
