Out of My League (Tzukook Fanfic)

Few weeks later

Students were standing outside their classrooms gossiping with one another. There is one topic that had peaked their interest this morning. Someone had apparently seen Jungkook and Tzuyu walking home together and that they were holding hands. And rumors are now circulating that Jungkook and Tzuyu are now dating.

Jungkook and Jimin arrived at school and suddenly all eyes were on them, some were even throwing dirty looks at Jungkook.

"That's him right?"

"He looks average. I'm sure I'm better than him tsk."

"He must have given Tzuyu some kind of love potion for her to date him."

Jimin glance worriedly at Jungkook, students have been insulting him because they envy him for getting closer with Tzuyu. Jungkook remained emotionless, not caring about what the others had been saying for he know the truth that the others do not. For him, they can judge him and insult him as long as he knows that Tzuyu likes him.

All of a sudden, the students became quiet. Jimin and Jungkook became curious why the students have been quiet, they saw the students looking at something or someone behind them. Turning around they saw Tzuyu and her friends arriving.

But the silence didn't last for long. As soon as everybody saw Tzuyu getting closer to where Jungkook was standing, several guys started a commotion, trying to get close to Tzuyu and blocking her path to Jungkook.

"Tzuyu what did you see in him?"

"I'm so much better than Jungkook so date me instead."

"You can do so much better than Jungkook. And by better I mean me."

Dahyun purses her lips and shouts, "Hey stop it!"

"Don't get any closer to Tzuyu," Chaeyoung warns the boys.

Dahyun and Chaeyoung quickly moved to protect Tzuyu from the boys crowding around them. Tzuyu felt scared and worried. She's scared because the guys are intruding her personal space and worried for Jungkook because he might feel sad because of the hurtful words the others are saying. Looking around for Jungkook, she saw him standing a few meters away. She could see Jungkook frowning and his fists were clenched, very much looking annoyed.

"Jungkook," Tzuyu says, growing worried for Jungkook.

The boys surrounding her had stopped after hearing her talk. Too surprised to hear her voice and say Jungkook's name out loud.

"Wah she talked just now."

"Did you hear that? She's talking."

"Jungkook? Why is she calling for Jungkook?"

Since the students were too surprised they had stood still in their positions, Jungkook took the chance to walk closer to Tzuyu. Several guys had seen him coming and went to stop him but Jungkook won't budge. Jimin seeing his friend moving, helped him get closer to Tzuyu by blocking the guys from stopping him.

Jungkook could feel his heart pounding. He had been alright with them insulting him but when he saw them crowding around Tzuyu and troubling her that's when he felt annoyed.

Arriving in front of Tzuyu, Dahyun and Chaeyoung moved to let Jungkook come closer to Tzuyu.

Jungkook worriedly looks at Tzuyu, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," Tzuyu nods.

"He looks so angry," Chaeyoung whispers to Dahyun.

Jungkook turns around to address the crowd, "You guys better stop it," he pauses, "If you trouble her then you will have to face me. Tzuyu will be protected by me from now on."
