I've read many Haphne fics, and I understand why people pair her with Harry. It seems like she is the Slytherin ice queen and a decent Slytherin. In most fics, Tracy Davies is her best friend who is outgoing and friendly. She only appeared once in the books so she's basically an OC.

OPINION CHANGE(2/12/2022): Daphne's character is certainly very interesting... the girl made of ice and lost her innocence at a very young age...I rerate it to 8/10
