Dug up emotions

"So I'll finally have some help?" Rodan questioned, already knowing the answer.

Ichi nodded "Indeed, that way you can keep an eye on them and they'll keep an eye on you during the time" he stated before seeing the girls all curled up on the ground near Mothra.

The first assumption that came to mind was that they were asleep but he was proven wrong when he noticed that Astrophel had raised her head upon hearing their arrival.

"Welcome back" the eldest greeted, her gaze locking with Ichi's.

The middle head felt one of their two hearts flutter gently as it always did when they were around the girls.

"I see you managed to get the 'thing' to fall asleep" Ichi commented, his eyes traveling over to Mothra.

"It wasn't that hard really, considering she was already tired and she'll be starting to eat more" Astrophel hummed, picking up Mothra with such love and care before laying the larva down and awakening her sisters.

"Time to go already?" Ichi watched Hestia ask, his main focus on Astrophel as he had noticed something.

Her eyes, which were normally bright with wisdom, love, peacefulness, and wonder, seemed to have dulled and now appeared foggy to him. But why was he concerned about her? She was only his prisoner, may be an ally, nothing else. Yet an instinct, the same one that caused him to grow fond of the starry themed alien, made him worry.

"Ghidorah?" Ichi heard a gentle and shy voice ask, immediately know who it was. He craned his head towards Nadira, watching the shy thing hover above them along with her other two sisters.

"D-do w-we g-go now? O-or d-do y-you w-want u-us t-to wait?" Nadira stammered, her body not shaking as much as it used to when she was around them.

"We're coming, you three go ahead" Ichi replied, expanding their large golden wings and thrusting themselves into the air.

While flying, he noticed how Astrophel was flying lower than normal, head down and if she wasn't flying, her wings would've been limp at her sides.

"Astrophel?" Ichi questioned once they had landed at the cave.

"Yes, Ghidorah?" Astrophel replied bluntly, looking up at all three heads.

"You seemed down, I suppose, did something occur while we were gone?" the central head quizzed, lowering his head slightly to meet Astrophel eye to eye.

'No' Astrophel faked a soft smile and shook her head, hiding her worry and replacing it with tiredness "No I'm just tired" she assured, leaning her head forward slightly and touching foreheads with Ichi for a brief moment.

As she watched Ichi's eyes widen slightly while he tried to process what just happened, Astrophel yawned quietly "Have a good night Ghidorah, see you in the morning" she then retreated back into her cave, glad to see Iker once more.

"Aw...little star has found love..." the voice mocked

Astrophel sighed, hearing Iker call his family and update them on what's been happening on the surface. It reminded her of what she and her sisters' mission was. They still needed to bring the humans to the surface again and to do that, they would have to be trusted to be outside the cave alone.

"Guess we'll have to become more than prisoners to Ghidorah" she murmured, laying down to rest and try to think of a plan for tomorrow.

"Brothers, what is this happy feeling I'm feeling?" Kevin asked, even though his brothers had already asked him multiple times to sleep.

"Love idiot now go to sleep"Ni growled, too tired to care about what he said.

"Love??? Like when Ichi fell in love wi-" Kevin was cut off with a warning snarl from Ichi himself.

"NEVER mention that incident again, as for what you're feeling, it's a crush, you'll..you'll get over it soon" Ichi instructed before laying his head down, knowing what he said about crushing was far from true and that it'll be a long time for any of them to get over the girls.
