When the sun shines no more (Ghidorah x Ocs)

The reminder

     Above ground, in the destroyed city of New York City, there sat an emerald green egg. It was no bigger than a house and had a slight glow to it. A shadow cast over it before a loud thud was heard, announcing the arrival of a fiery red titan named Rodan. The bird-like kaiju radiated heat as lava dripped from the edges of his wings.

     "The fuck? This can't be...." Rodan lowered his head and inspected the egg, hoping that this was the egg of Mothra, his old friend. 

     He had known in the back of his mind that she would return like she always does, but he didn't expect it to be so soon. A frown appeared on his features as he decided that this was indeed her egg.

     "She would hate what Ghidorah has done to the earth....what I helped him do... I'm such a cunt, I should've fought with Godzilla and her instead of against them" Rodan murmurs as the egg shifted in front of him. 

     He flinched a bit in surprise before relaxing again. The bigger titan estimated that the egg would hatch in a week or two, though he hoped that it would take longer.

     "Ghidorah will want to hear about this," he told himself as he gingerly held the egg in his talons. 

     Questions that Rodan wanted to forget ran through his head and he physically winced at some of them while expanding his wings and thrusting himself into the atmosphere. The only sound that was heard were his wings beating, otherwise, it was eerily quiet. 5 years ago, this would've scared the shit out of Rodan, but he's gotten used to the silence and the fog that always accompanied the morning. Well, in the early morning, in an hour or two there would be the regular roars of argument from Ghidorah. Especially from Ni and Ichi, the more violent and dangerous heads. Kevin was sweeter and more friendly towards Rodan and the others. As Rodan approached his old home, he felt sweat began to roll down his neck, which evaporated immediately after. He looked around his old home, remembering how he had to transfer to a new home and give up his old one to Ghidorah, the alpha. 

     "To three assholes" Rodan growled gently as he put the egg down.

     Meanwhile, inside the volcano, the three-headed hydra slept soundly, well except for the right head. San or Kevin as most creatures called him was playing around with his surroundings. The youngest and more kind head of Ghidorah normally was awake by now as he let his thoughts consume him.

     "Master!" Kevin heard a voice call out which woke up Ni and Ichi.

      The eldest just looked tired while the other looked pissed off. 

     "What the fuck does this bitch want now at this hour?" Ni fumed as he made their body get up. 

     Ichi sighed in irritation at Ni's toxic language, though he had used it sometimes, that didn't compare at how much Ni did.

     "Ni, watch your tongue" Ichi warned, one of their tails slightly raised off the ground as Ghidorah hoisted themselves up and out the volcano. 

     They steadied themselves before looking down at the smaller titan in front of them. Each head expressed a particular emotion. Ni showed anger and resentment, for Ichi's it was authority and irritation and Kevin displayed curiosity and friendliness.

     " What do you want fire chicken? " Ichi queried as he towered over Rodan. 

     "I found something and me....." he trailed off, unsure how to say it.

     Ni was impatient "Spit it out!" he growled, making the smaller out of the two flinches.

     "I found Mothra's egg" Rodan announced as he presented the emerald green egg.
