Blades At Work

Chapter 10

Aizawa POV

While on my way there I kept on thinking of the state of the villain Aino beat, either all the blood on the floor was his or she also took a beating, if that's the case she's too injured to fight even if we do get her out.
I eventually got to where the kids were and saw Todoroki and Tokoyami fighting the villains, I hid behind a boulder and stared at the villains disabling their quirk as they fought. Once the first 3 villains were down I saw the guy with the marbles, not knowing I was there he revealed where he was hiding the real ones while the ones Shoji picked up were ice. I saw him show the marbles on his tongue and pounced kicking the man in the face making him drop the marbles I picked them up and quickly switched them for the ice marbles as I fell to the ground and hid them in my pocket, pretending to be knocked out.
"Mr.Aizawa!!" Todoroki yelled running over as the villains disappeared, "no! No get back here!!" Midoriya screamed thinking he lost bakugou. I sat up after the villains left and took out the marbles from my pocket "I got them... how do we get them out" I sighed and saw how injured Aino was when they captured her. "Wait... you got them?? Tokoyami looked over at the marbles and held his hand out to hold them, I handed them to him and accidentally dropped them which broke the marbles and got Aino and Bakugou out of them. "Bakugou!" They all yelled as my eyes widened seeing Aino covered in blood and wounds. I quickly picked her up looked at bakugou who didn't didn't have a single scratch on him, "we need to get back to camp. Now!" I held Aino close as we all ran back to camp, with the villains gone it should be fine to run back through the forest.
I looked at Aino as I ran, although she was covered in blood I could tell the injuries weren't fatal, she was passed out but looked so peaceful.
"Mr. Aizawa and everyone are back!" Iida yelled as we showed up, their celebration cut short once they saw the state of Aino. I held her close as Vlad walked over with the keys to one of the coaches "you take her to the hospital, I'll get mic to bring back the coach" I nodded and saw Jirou staring at Aino with guilt "I need someone to come with me to keep an eye on her while I drive, Jirou? Do you want to come with and go home early?" I looked at Jirou as she quickly nodded and ran to her room to grab her suitcase, I could tell she felt at fault for Aino's injuries.

Me and Jirou waited outside the hospital room "you know it's not your fault right" I looked at Jirou, seeing her spiral in guilt "she would've fought that guy no matter who was there. Student or staff" I stood up and saw Jirou's parents show up "Jirou baby! Are you okay?" Her dad held her close, looking up at me "Your daughters injuries are light scratches and bruising around her neck" I bowed at her parents "I'm sorry to have put your daughters life in danger" I felt bad, this trip was meant to be a great opportunity for the kids to learn about how to react with villain intrusions, what a coincidence.
"If my daughters injuries aren't bad then why did we have to meet in a hospital" her dad was confused, rightfully so. "Ms.Kibira saved me and fought the villain, I wanted to come back with Mr.Aizawa to make sure she was okay" Jirou teared up and wiped her eyes "if you want to blame anyone blame me, if it wasn't for me getting caught by the villain ms.Kibira would be fine!" I sighed as Jirou's parents took her home.

"You can come in now we've stitched her up" the doctor opened the door and I walked in seeing Aino smiling like nothing happened with her arms and legs wrapped up "oioi my chef" I rolled my eyes and walked over to Aino pulling her close to my chest and hugging her "you're such an idiot.." I sighed and stroked her hair. I felt her chuckle as I pulled away "you worry too much, most of that blood wasn't even mine" she pointed at the bag of her clothes covered in blood. "Should've seen the other guy" she chuckled and looked at me seeing the bandage on my ribs through the cut of my shirt "you got hurt.." her voice quietened as she stared at the bandages. "Just a scratch, nothing compared to yours" I sat down next to her, to hear her groan and scootch up the bed "sit on the bed not the weird ass chairs" she patted infront of her and pulled her legs up to her chest. I chuckled and sat down on the bed and looked at her bandages on her arms "you put up one hell of a fight" I stroked her arm and looked at her,  she chuckled and sighed "I just feel bad for the kids, they were so excited.. just to have some shitty villains ruin it." I noticed a burn mark on her neck "did that villain have a burning quirk as well?" I questioned looking at her neck, Aino looked at me confused and shook her head "no no when I first left the class there was this villain that used blue flames, looked like they were the cause of the fire around the forest. He attacked me once I got outside, avoided the main blast but I guess he must've caught me a bit, once I finally caught him I nearly was able to capture him but he melted into sludge it was so weird, double quirk" she sighed, the blue flame didn't sound like one of the villains from the USJ so the league must of hired new villains to join them.

"How's Jirou? Is she okay?" Her head shot up, I nodded and chuckled slightly "always caring about others, yeah she's fine. She came with me to the hospital cause she was so worried" I stroked her hair and made her look at me "she just had some scratches and bruises around her neck, besides that she's fine" Aino looked at me and kissed my hand "I was so scared when I saw you in the hands of the league.. I thought I was going to lose you" I sighed and tied my hair back "I'm not going anywhere without a fight" Aino smiled and leant her head on my shoulder "especially if I got you and the kids by my side" I smiled softly and looked at her.
"AINO!!!!!" we heard a scream come from outside of the door, I think Aino already knows who it was by the reaction on her face.
