Chapter 33

Aino POV

It's been a week and luckily the boys were all healed up, Eri was slowly warming up to me as her fever was going away now. Aizawa on the other hand still being in a coma, nearly fully healed now. "Hey Eri-bear" I smiled and walked into her room, with sour strawberries in hand "strawberries" her eyes widened as she made grabby hands, I chuckled and handed her the packet and sat down next to her bed, her bed slowly filling up with more and more teddies and gifts from Mirio and Midoriya "I heard you met your heros yesterday, they're lovely aren't they" I smiled and crossed my legs over, Eri nodded and stuffed her face "Lemillion and Deku" she tried speaking with her mouth filled with sweets, I chuckled and sipped my coffee "Deku told me about the black haired man that helped me stop hurting deku, where is he?" Eri looked at me, I knew she was talking about Aizawa I put my coffee down and smiled looking at her "Yeah that's Aizawa, he's still healing up so he can't leave his bed yet but you're gonna love him" I couldn't tell her that he was in a coma, not that she would've known what a coma was.
"Aizawa.. funny name" Eri finished the sweets and took a sip of water, I smiled and spent the next few hours playing with her with her new toys. "Alright Eri it's time for another checkup" the doctor walked in, motioning it was my time to leave, I got up and smiled "I'll see you again tomorrow, but later on though I gotta teach" I ruffled her hair and waved before walking out. I walked back to Aizawa's room and saw Hizashi in there trying to annoy Aizawa into waking up "Is it working" I yawned walking in, Mic shook his head "I expected him to smack me by now" I chuckled and hugged Mic "it means a lot Hizashi, thank you" Mic sat down and leaned back, I sat down next to him and saw that I had one of Eri's toys in my pocket "shit I got one of Eri's toys still" Mic took the toy out of my pocket and chuckled "that's so cute it's a mini cat" I smiled a bit and crossed my legs "she's adorable, slowly gaining her trust but I now know her favourite sweets so I defiantly think we've gotten to a new level of friendship" I chuckled and looked at the teddy then Aizawa, I sighed and checked the time "Aizawa would love her she's honestly the cutest" Mic nodded and leaned towards me "he would never tell you this but he's always been really good with kids, especially back in school we had to try and control a kindergarten class with how to embrace their quirks and use them correctly and the kids were all over him, they loved him" I chuckled and looked at Mic refusing to believe it "no way you're full of shit" mic laughed and pulled out his phone and showed me a photo of Aizawa playing with some kids "oh my god that's adorable send that to me" Mic chuckled and sent it to me "Good luck playing home room teacher tomorrow, hopefully Aizawa wakes up before you kill mineta" I nodded and stretched back "I'm not ready for everyone to ask about how Aizawa is doing, they deserve to know the truth but I don't want to worry them, what would you do" I looked at Mic and saw him tap his chin "I'd tell them straight up, especially since Kirishima and midoriya were apart of it" mic shrugged, I looked at Aizawa and groaned "I just want him to wake up, it's been a week now I can't help but worry" I sighed and looked at the monitors, "I know, trust me there's no way he's dying before me. Just humanly impossible" mic stood up and held his hand out to me, I shook my head "I'm gonna stay for a couple more hours" Mic nodded and pat my head "don't stay too long" he smiled before leaving, I nodded and looked at Aizawa and kissed his cheek "please wake up soon, I really don't wanna kill mineta" i leaned back in the chair and stared at the ceiling  "Never thought you were someone to get along with kids so well, can't wait for you to meet Eri" I chuckled to myself and looked at him "never really had a conversation about kids, I voiced about how I never really wanted kids cause I had to take care of my younger brother so much growing up so it put me off but you never really told me how you felt, I should honestly listen more" I sighed and looked at him "defiantly not now though you can't talk" I chuckled and stretched my arms out before staying for a couple hours before getting up. I stood up and kissed his head "I'll see you tomorrow, bye babe" I walked out and sighed walking out of the hospital and finally made my way home.

I woke up early and got dressed and quickly visited Aizawa before going to UA, "hey baby cakes" Midnight smiled stood by her desk in the staff room, I smiled softly and waved "Hey midnight" I sat down and looked at Aizawa's plans for home room today "fuck the festival is next month" I rubbed my temple and sighed "do you want any help this morning? I don't have any lessons until after homeroom" Midnight smiled and leant against my desk, I shook my head and smiled "I appreciate the thought though thank you Nemuri" Midnight nodded and walked over to her desk, I got up and printed out the timetable for today and walked out walking to the lunch hall getting myself a coffee before going to class. I walked into class and saw only Aoyama sat there "you're early sparkles" I chuckled and saw him smile, "Gotta make sure I'm here early for some good morning gossip" Aoyama chirped and rest his head in both of his hands "So I still don't see a ring on that finger" he hummed and crossed his legs, I chuckled and shook my head "unfortunately someone in a coma can't propose" Aoyama's face dropped, now being concerned "he's still in a coma? Miss I'm so sorry" Aoyama got up and walked over giving me a hug, I smiled and hugged him back "Thank you Sparkles it means a lot" Aoyama nodded and backed up going back to his seat before the class started to fill in, "huh Ms.Kibira? Why are you here?" Jirou sat in her seat, I waited for everyone to get in their seats before telling everyone "Some of you already know this but for those who don't know, Aizawa is in a coma and has been since the Hassaikai raid, recovery girl has done as much as she can and has said that it's a matter of time until he wakes up" I drank my coffee as the class mumbled to each other, I inhaled and looked at the school festival sheet "right enough about Aizawa now I gotta try and be him, you guys got your school festival the beginning of next month" I itched my forehead and saw Kirishima raise his hand "is this really a good idea? It's been a week since the hassaikai raid and since finding out the league was involved with that is it really safe?" I nodded, fair point really. "I know it doesn't seem safe but the school festival isn't just for the hero courses, you guys had the eyes all on you for the sports festival, the support and business classes rely on the school festival to branch out to companies, each class has to do something for it, rumour has it that class 1-B is doing a parody play thing so I'd get your thinking hats on to try and figure out what to do" I smiled and saw their faces lit up
"We should do a dance party!" Mina jumped up excitedly, I chuckled and checked my phone seeing if there was any updates from the hospital.
