Chapter 31

Aino POV

I woke up to Mako sitting on my chest meowing loudly, I yawned and saw Aizawa was gone, I sat up and sighed putting on a jumper getting up out of bed "alright mako I'll feed you" I smiled and walked out to the kitchen and filled up makos food and water bowl, seeing a note on the fridge 'Didn't wanna wake you up, I'm at the raid and I got you breakfast it's in the microwave' I read the note and opened the microwave seeing burnt pancakes and chocolate syrup ontop of it, I chuckled appreciating the thought and tried a bit "that is so burnt.. but I'm gonna eat it cause he must've spent so much time on it" I ate the pancakes and leaned back and went on my phone looking at my lock screen being me and Aizawa "you better be fucking safe" I sighed and got up getting changed into joggers and a vest,it was my day off but I couldn't just sit around doing nothing. I put on trainers and decided on going for a run, anything to distract me really.
I put my headphones in and ran out of the apartment going for a run around the block, whenever I felt myself worrying about Aizawa I ran for an extra 10 minutes, a run that was meant to be only an hour ended up being 2 hours. I decided on running out to Midnights house.
I ran to midnights and knocked on the door, she swung the door open and was ever so casually in her underwear not caring people could see "huh? What you doing here baby cakes?" I groaned "I'm worried about Aizawa so I wanna distract myself so I'm not panicking all day" Midnights eyes widened "you wanna do a girl day?!" She grabbed my hand and dragged me inside, Im honestly up for anything if it helps me not think about the possibility of Aizawa getting hurt.
Midnight threw me onto the sofa and took out a bottle of champagne "I've been saving this for a girls day" she chirped as he opened it and poured it into two glasses, I smiled and saw Midnight pull out some face masks and matching pyjamas, these pyjamas were Lacy silk vests and shorts, one purple and one black "put it on" Midnight threw it at me as I got up and went to the bathroom putting it on.

We laid back on the sofa with face masks on drinking wine "Relaxing isn't it" Midnight hummed, I chuckled and nodded "Yeah" I finally felt relaxed, I closed my eyes and heard my phone vibrate, jumping up and checking it hoping it was Aizawa "dammit..." I sighed and put my phone down "my god you care for each other so much" Midnight groaned "I know you can't help it but you're both strong, neither of you have died yet so that's defiantly good, you guys may get injured but not killed" I sighed and took a swig of the wine "I know but I don't want him getting hurt, especially after the training camp I was literally covered in bandages but seeing him with a small wound on his ribs made me feel horrible" I put the glass down and added more wine. "Yeah but neither of you died, recovery girl can heal both of you." Midnight held my hand, I sighed and nodded, she was right but i just can't help but worry for him.

Midnight ordered sushi and a chocolate cake to make me feel better, I don't even really like sushi that much but I appreciated the thought "Aizawa made me pancakes this morning before leaving" I put my hand over my mouth chewing, Midnight made a grossed out face and chuckled "yeah it was horrible but I ate it all cause I could tell how long it would've taken him to do, I saw the burnt pieces of pancake stuck to the pan aswell" I chuckled and chomped on the sushi, sushi hits different when you're depressed. "Right off the topic of Aizawa before you start spiralling again, you're going to your sisters wedding at the end of the year what you planning on wedding?" Midnight yawned and took a gulp of her wine "I have no idea, I know what the bridesmaid dress looks like but my sister wanted to chose my dress for the reception. The bridesmaid dress is a sleeveless like off the shoulder long navy blue dress" Midnight chirped and clapped her hands together "oooo you're gonna look so cute, you're gonna have to get a bunch of photos with Aizawa I wanna see him in a proper formal suit" I smiled and drank the wine "he's gonna look so smart, I'll put his hair in a neat sleek bun or comb it all back" I fanned myself feeling myself blush, I hope he's doing okay.

Aizawa POV

I grit my teeth after getting stabbed a couple of times by Toga, sadly my quirk doesn't work on weapons. I got up and saw Toga running towards Midoriya "fuck." I draped my scarf out and wrapped it around her pulling her back, her knife going from aiming at midoriya went towards me again, quickly stabbing my leg before running away. "Eraser!" Midoriya ran over, luckily the stabs were light and in non fatal areas. "I'm fine let's just try and regroup" I ran with Midoriya and held onto my side, where is the rest of the guys?
We kept on running and finally got back with the group "eraser" Nighteye nodded, I ran over to them. There was makeshift doors being created trying to split the group up smaller and smaller until we were easier to pick off, there were a lot of less dangerous Yakuza thugs that were easily cut down. We kept on running as the crushing walls were finally stopped, looks like the other group got that warped villain knocked out finally. We kept running, I kept close to Nighteye, midoriya and mirio the entire time, we kept running until I saw Overhaul ahead "AHEAD!" I motioned to everyone, I went to run with them before being cut off "fuckk " I groaned and saw the doors next to me open and saw a Yakuza thug that was close to being like a nomu, hopefully this guy not being a nomu else I'm fucked. "Come on then" I gripped onto my scarf and stared the guy down, not much changing to his physique, let's hope this guy doesn't take too much of my time. The villain ran towards me, clearly showing he's only better at close combat attacks, just gotta make sure he doesn't get close enough. I used my scarf and jumped avoiding the villain, to suddenly have him grab my scarf and throw me down to the floor, I grit my teeth and groaned, like the nomu this guy is still super strong even with his quirk erased. I tied my scarf around his ankles pulling the villain to the ground and jumped up wiping the blood off my lips "get here you rat!" The villain growled and jumped up after me, I kicked him in the face and got down "What the fuck is your quirk" I spat out blood and felt my head go dizzy, I struggled to stand upright as I felt my body go numb "Whoever I touch becomes paralysed" The villain smirked before stomping on my head, last thing I could remember before being knocked out.

"Eraser! Eraser!" I groaned and opened my eyes, seeing Ryuoko, Ururaka and Tsuu, I looked down and was able to move my legs, with pain of course but luckily wasn't paralysed "what happened?" I turned my head and saw the villain knocked out in the corner. "The raids nearly over, Deku is out there trying to protect Eri. We're collecting people stuck in the ditch" my head was still spitting as Ryouko spoke, unable to keep myself conscious Ururaka tapped my shoulder and made me float out of the ditch and onto the road, I looked up and saw Midoria holding tightly onto Eri, overhaul now fully knocked out. I saw that Midoriya was in pain and looked up at him activating my quirk before feeling drained and passing out.
