Chapter 37

Aino POV

It was finally time for the festival and I was all ready for the chance if Eri was allowed to stay with us, I decorated most of the spare room with a little white and pink desk with strawberries painted on it, a red platform Ed bed with the underneath being a little play area with toys. I put a couple of larger teddies in the room to fill it up a bit, not too much though so there would be room for her to add stuff in. "You're finally able to let your motherly instincts out" Aizawa chuckled as he put the curtains on the railing, they were a white mesh with big strawberries on them. I nodded and leant against the doorframe "if we don't have her stay with us after all this effort I will defiantly cry" I chuckled and stretched my arms "We gotta go in a minute, you're picking up Eri and I gotta be helping the guys set up, they're first, you're gonna come watch them right?" I held onto his hands and leant close, Aizawa nodded "You wanna walk or drive?" I hummed and picked up his keys "we can walk tomorrow when we find out about Eri" I smiled and walked to the door "race you to the car" I smirked and ran off, jumping up and making blades come out the bottom of my shoes and quickly gliding down the stairs banister, finally getting to the bottom and making my blades go back in as I ran to the car and already saw Aizawa there "HOW?!"

"Right I got midoriya's costume here, where is he??" I looked around the back of the set not seeing him anywhere "he said he was getting rope 15 minutes ago but I have no idea where he is, he should be back by now" Ururaka sighed worried, I looked at her and noticed a slight blush on her cheeks "I know that look, way too well" I smirked and walked off, still looking for Midoriya. I finally saw him run in "FINALLY! Get dressed Mina is losing her mind, what happened to you" I saw him looking all scuffed up and quickly took out a makeup wipe and wiped off the dirt and scuff off his cheeks "Ms.Kibira I'm sorry I got in a fight" Midoriya groaned, I raised my eyebrow "are you hurt ??" He shook his head "thank god, get dressed" I ruffled his head and ran off "good luck guys I'll be in the crowd watching you guys!" I ran out the back and got to the crowd, seeing Aizawa and Mic, I waved at them and ran over "Hey!" Mic waved and pulled me over "Where's Eri?" I looked at Aizawa as he pointed forward at mirio and Eri "ahh fair enough I'm too short to have her be close to the front and you're too frail and old to hold something over your head for too long" I nodded as Mic snorted and covered his mouth stifling a laugh "you're very lucky we're in public or id make you eat those words" Aizawa glared at me, I smirked and stood in between them as the show started, I leant against Aizawa and held his hand. It started really loud, Jirou singing into the mic as the others played and the rest dancing. Mic was hype and dancing with the class, knowing he defiantly was stalking them during practice. Aoyama and Deku jumped up making the room fill with lasers, Deku quickly running off. I looked at Mic dancing and let go of Aizawa's hand and started dancing with Mic "yes!" Suddenly ice structures filled the room with glitter, confetti and Aoyama's laser. I danced with Mic and looked at Aizawa staring, I grabbed his hand and forced him to dance with us, by dance I mean he held onto my hand as I danced, couldn't figure out any other way of forcing him. I chuckled and looked at him "dance!" I grabbed both of his hands trying to make him dance, He eventually gave in and danced the tiniest bit. I looked at him as a huge smile spread across my face, I laughed and held onto his hands and leant against him as the song got quieter. I rest my head against his chest and watched the kids give it their all, only being able to see the back of Eri looking like she was really enjoying herself. I smiled and looked at Mic seeing he looked a lil lonely as I grabbed his hand and pulled him into the hug "Awww I love you guys, shame that midnight is on patrol" Mic whined, Aizawa looked at Mic "like how you should be" I chuckled and ignored their bickering listening to the show eventually end "WOOOO!!!!" I cheered and clapped my hands.

"Did you see it! Did you see it! There was a big boom which I got scared about but then I saw there was nothing to be scared of! And everyone said wow and you know what I said?! Wow too!" Eri rambled, I chuckled and listened to her, "can we go to the funhouse!" She jumped up, I chuckled and looked at Mirio and Aizawa "I don't see why not" I smiled and yelped as she grabbed my hand and dragged me out to the rest of the festival and to the funhouse "Aizawa can you hold my bag please!" Eri held her bag out, I chuckled and paid the person before being dragged inside "good luck!" Aizawa yelled to me as I got dragged in, Eri ran ahead as she easily slipped through the little gap thing "oh god this is gonna make me feel uncomfy" I groaned and squeezed through the gap and followed after Eri as she jumped down a slide, in the slide it was completely dark, I inhaled before jumping in, wasn't a long slide as I landed in a ball pit and looked around "Eri??" I looked for her and couldn't find her, the front wall was made out of mesh so I could see Aizawa and Mirio watching us trying to hold back laughs, I looked at them confused before feeling balls hit my head "BOO!" Eri jumped up from behind me and launched herself onto my back, I pretended to act hurt and fell forward "OH NO OW" I made it really dramatic so Eri wouldn't think I'm actually hurt, Eri giggled quietly and hugged me "Next one! Bumper cars!" I chuckled and nodded getting out of the ball pit and leaving with Eri as she held my hand. "You got brutally attacked there, we're you scared for your life?" Aizawa chuckled, I nodded and fanned myself "terrifying, thought it was all gonna end right there" I laughed and looked at Aizawa as Eri held my hand as we went to the bumper carts "Sorry she has to be of a certain height to go on the ride" The person shook their head, Eri pouted and looked at me and Aizawa, her big puppy eyes with Mirio's made us all look at Aizawa. Aizawa looked at the person and made his eyes glow red "She can sit on his lap so that would make her apart of the height limit" The guy gulped and opened the gate letting us in, Mirio being with Eri and me and Aizawa being in seperate carts "Just a warning I will kick your ass" I pat Aizawa's shoulder and got into the cart.

We waved Mirio off before taking Eri back to the hospital "I'm pooped" I yawned and looked at Aizawa as he carried Eri, she was nearly passed out, probably finally at her sugar crash after Deku gave her the candy apple. I yawned and walked with Aizawa and looked up at the sun as it was nearly setting "She's definitely ready to go back to normal life, hopefully the doctors think the same" Aizawa stroked her hair as he walked, I nodded and looked at her "I hope so too, she needs a good father figure in her life, her grandad was all she had as a decent figure in her life after her mum disowned her." I sighed and saw Aizawa look at me as he raised his eyebrow "nah we're doing this together, she needs a mother figure aswell. You already do it really well with the students, you'll shape her life with that kindness" my eyes widened looking at aizawa, I've seen Aizawa be sweet but this was overly kind "that's the nicest thing you've ever said to me" i smiled and kissed his cheek as we walked into the hospital and dropped Eri off, we told the doctors how she did today and even with photos proving that she did have a good time today.
