Chapter 29

Aino POV

"I can't believe you guys teamed up to fight stain, AND WON!!" I looked at them all in shock "you've been scowled at enough, as much as we can't talk about it after this I just want to say I'm so happy you guys are okay" Like how Aizawa said, their injuries were minimal and weren't going to affect them long term, besides Iida's arm took significant damage. "Im sorry.." Iida looked down "it's all my fault" he wiped his eyes, I sighed and ruffled his hair "yes you shouldn't of done it and it was a stupid idea, but your judgement was clouded by your brothers injuries" I sighed and saw Iida look at me, I smiled softly looking at him "Even without revenge you're going to make your brother proud, I know that for a fact." Even if it didn't mean a lot to me to say it I knew that it was true, Tensei's reign as ingenium may be over but Iida will make his family and his brother proud. I stood up and sighed "We'll be ready when you guys get better" I smiled and walked out and saw Aizawa stood by the door waiting for me "You did really well, didn't praise them at all" Aizawa pat my head, I sighed and groaned "it was so hard they did so good with stain, all 3 of them beat stain before the pros showed up" I spoke quietly as it wasn't allowed to be known that 3 kids without their provisional licenses should be fighting.
It was a stressful lengthy day, spent at the station giving reports and being told that nobody else could hear about what happened.

It was late at night so the trains weren't running until early morning, we ended up staying in a hotel for the night, wasn't really sure on what to do. I sat on the bed and took off my hero costume as that was all I packed, wrapping myself up with the quilt as Aizawa read the flier about what they had "they have a pool? You wanna go swimming?" Aizawa looked at me, I shook my head and sighed "I just feel off, It's like wherever we go the league always has something to do with everything" I groaned and laid back on the bed staring at the ceiling "I just want them gone. Don't know what their fucking problem is, their ideologies are so highly flawed and they're ran by a man with the mental capacity of a toddler." I groaned and grabbed a pillow screaming into it, Aizawa grabbed his pillow "don't make my pillow all wet" he chuckled and stripped and got into bed and propped himself up, I sighed and turned to the side "I heard there was a shie hassaikai raid sir nighteye was planning" I looked at Aizawa and watched his face drop "you're not involved in it so I shouldn't even tell you anything" I pouted and sat up scooching up next to him "but since I'm the light of your life you're gonna tell me anyway" I hummed and rest my head on his shoulder staring at him, Aizawa groaned and chuckled softly "basically the head of hassaikai; Overhaul is using his daughter to make quirk erasing bullets and to sell them for a profit, we know where their base is and have planned a raid, we're gaining information so it's a matter of time until we go" I felt a pit in my stomach as I was snapped back into seriousness "this guy is using his daughter to sell bullets?? Do you guys know how old she is?" The thought of a child being used to a villains advantage made me feel sick, we've met cruel villains but that is beyond what we've been used to. "She's 6, called Eri, from what we've been told she has long white hair, was covered in bandages, horn on the right side of her forehead" I sighed and leaned against Aizawa "what sick fuck would use a child to their advantage to make a quick buck" Aizawa held my hand and rubbed his thumb over the top of my hand.
I sighed and rest my head on his shoulder "Aizawa.." Aizawa drew his attention from his phone to me, I looked at his hand and looked at him "I love you" A slight blush spread across his face as he smiled and stroked my cheek "I love you too" Aizawa chuckled softly "even when you charge head first into situations that would most likely kill you" I chuckled and leant on him "your little suicidal maniac" I yawned and moved my head off of him "hmm bedtime" I laid down and pulled him down ontop of me, wrapping my arms around his shoulders and pulling him to my chest, Aizawa chuckled before closing his eyes and falling asleep, I stroked his hair and smiled to myself before falling asleep.

I woke up to Aizawa still fast asleep cuddled up against my chest, I chuckled to myself and checked the time on my phone and went through my emails, my phone began ringing as I answered it and spoke quietly "Hey what's up" I stroked Aizawa's hair as Midnight asked about what happened in Hosu, I explained what I was allowed to say but told her the students got injured by the surrounding incidents with the nomu's and were nowhere near stain. "Why are you talking so quietly? You held captive somewhere?" Midnight pried, I chuckled softly "no no Aizawa's asleep on me I don't wanna wake him up" I looked at him pouting at how cute he was "omg send me a photo after the call" I chuckled and hung up and took a pic of Aizawa and sent it to midnight, I took another and kept it and smiled looking at it. I stayed like that holding Aizawa close for a couple of hours before he woke up, thinking it would be funny I secretly filmed him as he woke up "Good afternoon Sleepyhead" I chuckled, Aizawa groaned before lifting his head up and looking at me "Hello gorgeous" his morning voice being low enough to make my heart tremble, I smiled and stroked his hair "It's 2pm" I chuckled and looked at him, Aizawa propped himself up a bit and looked at my phone trying to see the time and saw I was recording "you trying to expose me or something" Aizawa looked back at me as I laughed and shook my head "nah just wanted to document some things" I smiled and stopped the recording, Aizawa sat up fully and stretched, hearing his back crack "god I'm so old" He groaned, I chuckled and trailed my cold hand up his spine "Could get you booked in with a chiropractor, little old man you're becoming frail" I joked as Aizawa glared at me, getting a bit scared when he glared like that I raised my hands "kidding kidding! You're a strong old man" Aizawa chuckled and pecked my lips before standing up and getting dressed "We need to get back to Musutafu, i gotta make sure I'm in the area if the raid starts" I nodded and jumped up getting changed and brushed my hair and handed Aizawa the brush while I put my shoes on.
