Chapter 32

Aino POV

"hey Aino babe" Midnight walked out from the kitchen, I looked at her and realising the look on her face I jumped up "has the raid ended?" Midnight nodded and held onto the phone I quickly put my shoes on and put on my joggers ontop of the shorts "Aizawa's in a coma" Midnight put the phone down and looked at me, I chuckled and put my coat on "you're funny, He at the station giving a report?"
Midnight's face didn't crack, she can't be serious. My face fell realising "I'll drive you" Midnight sighed, I quickly ran out of the house and to the hospital feeling my eyes water "no he's just got some minor damage" I kept running to the hospital and finally got inside and to the reception "Shouta Aizawa where is he" I panted and leant on the desk my eyes welling up "who are you to the patient" The reception lady said calmly, I tried catching my breath "girlfriend" I saw Fatgum out of the corner of my eye and ran up to him and hugged him tightly "Toyo" I looked at him "Is it true is Aizawa in a coma" I was hoping he'd tell me it was just a rumour, he sighed and looked at the receptionist "she's with us sorry" Toyo lead me up to Aizawa's room "he's in there, I would come in with you but I'm checking in on Kirishima and suneater" I nodded and took a deep breath before walking in and froze seeing Aizawa hooked up to the machines "fuck, you look terrible" I sighed and closed the door behind me as my eyes watered holding onto his hand, I rubbed shapes into his hand and rest my head against the top of his "You saved a little girl today, fatgum told me she's got a fever but is seen to be recovering well." I stroked his hair and held him close as tears fell down my face "I know you're gonna wake up but fuck I hate seeing you like this.." I sighed and wiped my eyes and looked at the machines and chuckled "At least it's karma for the amount of times you've had to see me like this" I heard the door open and looked at recovery girl "Hey Chiyo" I sniffled and stroked his hair, Chiyo hobbled over with her cane and stood up, she placed her hand on my back in comfort "I've already healed a lot of him but draining so much stamina out of him would risk making his coma longer" Chiyo sighed, I nodded and stroked his hair "He did so well though, he saved Midoriya from that toga chick, fatgum told me a lot about what he did, I'm so proud of him" I wiped my eyes and stroked my thumb on his cheek "I'm happy he has you, if he wanted to he could stay in this coma for as long as he can. Hopefully you being around might bring him out of it faster" Chiyo looked at me and smiled "He'll wake up soon, trust me I'm a doctor" I chuckled softly as Chiyo left the room.

I spent the rest of the day by Aizawa's side, people came in every so often to visit but wouldn't stay long. I held his hand and sat next to him, refusing to fall asleep. "Hey baby cakes, I got you a drink and some spare clothes for tomorrow" I looked up and smiled a bit taking the coffee and Midnight put down the bag of clothes "They want you to meet Eri tomorrow, they would've had Aizawa do it but you were the next option" Midnight sat next to me, I kept hold onto Aizawa's hand and sighed nodding "could you watch him while I'm gone tomorrow?" I looked at Midnight really not wanting to leave Aizawa alone "I want someone to be there with him when he wakes up" Midnight nodded, I stroked his hand and groaned I hated seeing him like this.
Midnight stayed for a couple of hours before it got late and left, I stayed right next to him trying hard not to fall asleep "nope, gotta stay awake" I groaned and rubbed my eyes, I rest my head on the bed and finally fell asleep.
I woke up seeing Aizawa still laid peacefully, I sighed and stood up going to the bathroom and got changed into the clothes midnight brought, surprisingly tame for midnights choice, it was a black skirt and turtleneck with my normal black coat and platforms. I walked back out and brushed my hair standing next to Aizawa "I'm meeting Eri today, they said her fevers still there but going down" I put on a smile and stroked his hair "You did so well" Midnight walked in, I nodded and kissed Aizawa's head "I'll be back later babe" I took a deep breath and walked out walking to Eri's room, quickly stopping to get myself a coffee. I finally got to Eri's room and saw her sat up in the bed, she looked so innocent but behind those eyes I could see she was still terrified. "Hi there" I smiled and walked over, she held onto the quilt tightly and looked at the doctor then me "This is Aino Kibira, we decided it would be great if you met someone" the doctor smiled, I looked at Eri. Eri looked around "Where's the two that saved me.. the green haired boy and the blonde one" I smiled and put my cup down "They're getting checked out" not wanting to bring up that they were injured, especially not mentioning Sir.Nighteye. I spent the next few hours trying to get along with Eri, she tried but with her being so scared and timid it was hard to get her comfortable "I'll be back same time around tomorrow, I might even bring some sweeties, any that you like?" I smiled and saw her face kind of light up "sour Strawberries.." She spoke quietly and fiddled with her gown, I nodded and smiled "I'll bring some sour strawberries tomorrow" she nodded as I got up and left, I waved to her goodbye before leaving. Taking a deep breath I went to walk back to Aizawa's room and saw that Midoriya and Mirio's were close down the hall. I walked down the hall and to Midoriya's room, I knocked on the door before opening it seeing Kirishima wrapped fully in bandages with both of his arms in slings, I put my hand on my mouth holding back a laugh "I'm a mummy" Kirishima looked at me, I chuckled and nodded "you really are, how you guys feeling" I looked around the room seeing Midoriya and Tamaki nod, obviously with how much Kirishima was covered up he couldn't move much. "You guys did amazingly, I couldn't be more proud of you" I smiled and looked at them all, still trying not to laugh at Kirishima "stop laughing at me you're going to make me laugh" I nodded and put my hand on my mouth and looked at Tamaki "Hey Tama how are you doing bab" I smiled and sat by his bed, Tamaki sat up and sighed "just a broken arm and some bruised ribs" I sighed and crossed my legs over "how's mr.Aizawa doing" Midoriya looked over at me, my smile fading  "still in a coma" I sighed and tucked my hair behind my ears, not wanting to make it out worse to the students. "But his injuries are healing really well thanks to recovery girl, but with draining such stamina out of him it might lengthen his coma but it's just a matter of time before he wakes up" I put on a smile not wanting to worry them. I got up and checked the time "I'm gonna go back and check on him, get well soon boys" I smiled and walked out going back to Aizawa's room.
