Chapter 21

Aizawa POV
We pulled out Aino's body, I held it gently as she smiled softly "hey.." I looked at her and held her close, only to have her melt in my hands "that fucking quirk.." I stood up and staeted thinking "back at the bar..." My eyes widened remembering how Aino described it when she was being recorded and I got up running back to the bar with fatgum, kiri and tamaki.

We showed up at the bar and busted in "you get some cops here, I'll go in." I looked at the hero and ran in putting on my sunglasses and ran upstairs looking through every room and saw Shigaraki and Aino, her looking more beaten "well well aren't you smart" Shigaraki laughed as both twice and Toga came jumping out, only to be taken out quickly by fatgum and suneater. I jumped up and pounced on Shigaraki and pinned him down to the ground, Kirishima picked up Aino and moved her out of the way. I was ready to knock this son of a bitch out before i felt heat come from behind me, a blue fire blast knocked me off of Shigaraki "fuck this I ain't dying today, ABORT!" Shigaraki yelled as warp gates showed up for them each, all of them jumping in one and disappearing. "You three go after them, I'll take her to the hospital" I went to pick up Aino, fatgum stopping me "we need to eraser.Red  will take her." Kirishima nodded his head "yes sir!" He held Aino and ran out. I rubbed my eyes "fucks sake" standing up i saw fatgum looking at me "she'll be fine, but we won't if you go." I sighed and nodded "you're right"

We got back to the battleground where everyone was, more thugs hired to section the hero's off. All might sat in a corner clearly just finished with the Nomu, I walked over and looked at him "why aren't you with Aino" he looked at me, I shrugged "I really want to be with her, but you guys need me, kirishima's with her" I sighed and saw a thug running towards us and disabled their quirk kicking them in the jar knocking them out to be restrained.

Aino POV

I woke up to look up and see, Kirishima? "What are you doing red?.." my eyes were hardly open, swollen to the max. "Miss! You're awake" kiri smiled as he ran, tears were brimming in his eyes, I recognised we were now in a hospital "excuse me? Sorry my teacher needs urgent help please" Kirishima's voice was filled with panic, I pat his chest and felt sharp pain in my shoulder"stop panicking.. I'm gonna be fine" I spoke through gritted teeth, being moved from Kirishima's arms to a bed and quickly being wheeled away.

How did they figure out I was the spy? I stayed calm and never overspoke or asked too many questions. "Is there anyone you want here?" The nurse asked, I really wanted to say Aizawa but couldn't drag him out. "Midnight" I managed to speak, the nurse nodded and walked off from my bed as I was wheeled away to get sorted. The doctors examined my injuries, while they did that all I could think of was everything i did wrong. It's my fault the plan went to shit, if I just did my job right. If anyone else was the spy it would be a success, all my stupid fault.
I miss Aizawa so much, tears began to brim in my eyes "is it painful?" The doctor asked, no fucking shit look at me. I nodded and grit my teeth feeling numbness in my shoulder and sharp pain from my head. Next thing I knew I was blacked out, from pain I don't know. Have I succumbed to my wounds ?
I wonder if Aizawa is doing okay, how peaceful Emi is sleeping right now with no idea with what's going on, she would slap me right now. I know everyone is fighting so hard right now, hopefully this wasn't a full failure. Hopefully they restrain and get at least one of them from the league, especially if it's Kurogiri. They'll lose the middle man and their main transport, making it a hell of a lot harder to escape.

I eventually opened my eyes, groaning at the bright light "oh thank god you're awake!" Midnight shot up and smiled brightly, she was always so positive even in the most shitty moments. I was able to smile a bit and looked at myself, couldn't count how many machines I was hooked up to. "It's been a couple days.. you been in a coma" Midnight stroked my head "that nomu really fucked with your head, luckily the scans show no sign of trauma, just a concussion" I tried sitting up only to feel a stinging pain down my spine, eyes widening I looked at her ".. I'm not paralysed am I" absolutely shitting myself, Midnight snorted "no! No god no you just broke a couple ribs, shattered your collarbone, broke your nose and lost a couple teeth and broke your  forearm" midnight started listing things "where's Aizawa.." I scooched myself up and saw my arm in a sling "at the station, only time he had to leave you. He's been with you since the raid ended, he left a couple hours ago, shouldn't be long until he gets back" I looked down at my lap "was it a failure?.." midnight looked at me confused "failure?" Her face lit up finally realising what I meant "ohhh no that toga chick got detained, that warp gate villain, this one with huge lips and a bunch of thugs. Far from a failure hun" Midnight smiled rubbing my arm, I nodded, at least it wasn't fully a failure.
"Is she awake yet?" Kirishima walked in, I smiled and looked at him "hey sharky" his eyes widened, brimming with tears again as he ran over "we're so happy you're okay!" He air hugged me, I looked at him confused "we?" Ururaka, Tsuu, Nejire, Mirio, Midoriya and Tamaki walked in, I chuckled and smiled "hey guys, nice bruise bubble, looks badass" ururaka held her hand over her cheek smiling "I know right!" I chuckled and coughed feeling pain coming from my ribs. "Midnight told us what's up, have you been seen by recovery girl yet?" Tsuu looked at us, midnight shook her head "she's coming over later on today to see how much she can heal" I looked at the kids "this is one of the cases I'll want her help, I don't wanna be bedbound"
