Penthouse (12)

"Why don't you and Trixie move in with me for a bit? I can call a cleaning service to clean this up and we can get to the bottom of who did this but till then you and the offspring are going to need a place to stay if she isn't with detective douche that is" he explained waving his hand around manically as if it would help his situation. Chloe looked up at him with a surprised expression on her face.

"Are you sure? I mean, we wouldn't want to intrude" she said.
"Non-sense. You wouldn't be intruding at all. Plus this place will most likely be a crime scene for a little while longer so why not" Lucifer said with a seductive grin plastered across his face.
"Umm... Yeah, ok then. I can pack me and Trixie some clothes and necessities for a few days. Give me a second". And with that, Chloe gave him a peck on the cheek and walked towards where she and the offsprings bedrooms were.

A few moments later, Chloe walked out of their bedrooms with 2 big bags full of clothes and bathroom supplies, etc.
"Here, let me take this," Lucifer said politely as he reached for one of the bags in her hand, "I can put them in the back of the Corvet".
"Uhh, yeah sure," she said as they shared affectionate glances and walked out of the door, leaving the crime scene for a couple of days. "Oh, and I have Trixie tonight so do you mind if you drive me to the school to pick her up?"
"With pleasure detective!" A cheeky grin on his face as they both got in the car and pulled out of the driveway and into the LA traffic once again.

Skidding into a parking spot at the front of Trixie's school, Chloe stepped out of the wobbling slightly at the speed they had just gone and walked towards the school's entrance. With Lucifer's devising fear of children except for the urchin herself (he could handle her even if meant for the sake of the detective), he decided to stay back and wait for the blonde and her small child, hand in hand walking towards his car. He smugly took a cigarette out of his pocket and lit it with the lighter he had pulled out from his other pocket. After a few minutes went by when he heard the sounds of the detective's boots on the pavement and the urchin jumping about excitedly. 

"Into the car, Trixie," Chloe said as she let go of Trixie's and hopped into the front of the car.  
"HEY LUCIFER" shouted a small child in the back seat. 

"Well hello, urchin. Good day at school?" Lucifer asked.

"Yeah. We were learning about the Bible" she said with a smile on her face. Lucifer mumbled something under his breath but it wasn't audible from where Trixie was sitting. 
"Anyway we have something to tell you, Monkey," Chloe said from the front seat. Trixie tilted her head in confusion but didn't say anything allowing her mother to explain further. 

"We are going to be staying a Lucifer's place for a while". There was silence for a little while longer making Chloe and Lucifer look at each other in worry but then soon, Trixie's face lit up in disbelief, a huge smile spread across her face. 

"REALLY?!" 

"Yeah Monkey. What do you think?" Chloe asked, getting slightly nervous by the second. 

"Cool," Trixie said with a smile across her face. If you looked at her it might as well have been contagious because you would be smiling too. The smile across her face earned a slight chuckle from Lucifer and a smirk from Chloe. 

"Well then, should we get going? I mean the penthouse awaits your arrival" Lucifer said giggling at his own joke. Chloe shook her head from his remark but that didn't stop her from smile also. They sped from the school onto the sunny roads of L.A.

Not long after they arrived at LUX. The Penthouse elevator dinged and they stepped out into the large room."Trixie, I have a special room for you. It's all white so we can get you some new furniture for it and things but that room is all yours" Lucifer explained. Trixie's face lit up at that moment and without a second to waste, she jumped at him and pulled him into a tight hug. He stiffened at the beginning but Lucifer began to relax into it until she pulled away.
"Come on then this way urchin," he said and took her hand to lead her to the room. "Oh, and Detective, if you want to, you can get unpacked in our room". Chloe gave him a nod, walked into the room, and placed the duffle bag at the bottom of their bed. Lucifer walked out a little while longer and sat on the bed beside her. He snuggled his face into her hair and started leaving trails of kisses down her neck.
"Lucifer stop. My daughter is just in the other room" Chloe said through laughing. He pushed her onto the bed so he was hung above her, looking down at his beauty. All of a sudden, Lucifer became sudden and gave her a serious look.
"What's wrong?" Chloe asked, her voice laced in confusion.
"Go in the bathroom and look at your eyes". He wasn't playing around anymore. As Chloe reached the bathroom, she looked in the mirror and became terrified by her own reflection.
