I walk into the cafe and sit in the same booth as yesterday and order the same tea. I pull our my journal and pen.

~28th february~

I'm sitting in the same place as yesterday, the day before and the day before that. I have ordered the same tea as always and I'm waiting for Ashton.

We mainly talk about random topics. Like how I want a cat and would like to name it hurricane, and how he wants a dog and would like to call it Pepper. Normal things.

He told me some of his plans to New York but he changes the subject after a few minutes. He always frowns and waits a few seconds to reply.

Work with Calum is real easy, he loves the job. I kind of miss having Jas around, I've came up with so many comebacks since she's been gone.

I haven't spoken to Luke lately, but he seems pretty happy doing his business.
Jas as not been seen since she got moved to a different building. And I'm fine, as always.

Amelia.

Ashton still isn't here. I'm wondering if he actually is coming, I'm on my same tea, just cold tea.

I sigh moving the spoon around in the mug. Swirling around the cold liquid, looking out the window that leeds to the street, it starts raining, harder every second.

"Can I get you anything, miss?" A young waitress offers me.

"I'm okay thanks, just waiting for someone." I softly smile.

"Okay." She nods walking off.

I wait a few minutes and pull out my phone to text him when the door swings open, gently not to break the glass in it.
Ashton friendly yet wet face appears looking at me. He walks over to me and smiles, I eye him.

"Did you walk here? In the rain?" I chuckles lightly.

"Yes, my car broke down and a guy had to come to pick it up and I waited, he was taking forever. When he finally got here to get my car, he just left me there." He scoffs. "Then it started raining." He sighs sitting down next to me.

"I'll get some coffee." I smile walking over to order a coffee for Ashton.

Ashton

I take off my soaking wet leather jacket and place it on the chair in front of me. I lay my head back on the comfy arm chair and sigh relaxing.

"Here you are." She places the coffee in front of me. "I also got you a towel." She passes me the warm towel.

"Thanks, you didn't have to." I smile rubbing the warm towel over my head to dry my hair. I wipe my face and look at Lia.
Her dark brown eyes stare at me, her lips play a smile and her eyebrows furrow.

"I thought you weren't going to come." She says looking at her journal.

"I'm here now." I say. I wish she didn't think so negative all the time.

"So.. You're leaving on monday. Huh?" She shrugs half smiling.

"Yeah." I lie. I wish I could understand where she got the idea of me moving away to new york. I have no idea why she thinks this I'm moving to New York, I wonder if Jas said anything. Well I'll tell her eventually.

"Why New York?" She asks. "Why not go back to Australia?" She questions.

"New places, I guess." I scratch the back of my neck.

"Will I see you tomorrow?" She meets my gaze, her eyes all glossy.

"Of course." I say.

"I have a gift for you." She smiles wiping her eyes. "But you cant have it yet." She stands.

"Were are you going?" I asks not wanting her to leave yet.

"I should get going, mom as been here watching over me because of stupid incident with my arm." She huffs picking her bag up.

"I would drive you home but you know." I laugh neevously.

"Yeah." She chuckles lightly. "Do you want me to drive you to yours?" She offers.

I would actually love that but she will probably want to come in and see that my apartment isn't in the moving condition.

I shake my head. "Its fine, I have to meet with the state agent anyways." I lie.

"See you tomorrow then." She nods smiling.

"Bye, Lia." I wave plopping back down in the chair.
