Chapter 15: I can't loose you

Ashley's P.O.V.:

I woke up today feeling a bit sick. I rushed to the toilet and thru up last night's diner. When I was done, I wiped my mouth and brushed my teeth to get rid of the taste it left behind.

I might have caught a cold or something from one of the students in school.

It's the worst day ever for me to be sick because today is Saturday, and i had a date with Lili tonight. I had promised her I would take her out, and I'm not about to brake my promise.

I can't tell my parents because they would never let me leave the house with a fever. and I think I definitely had one.
    
I decided to sleep it off and maybe i would wake up feeling better. Well I hope. Plus I bet it's nothing too serious, I'll be fine after this nap.

I set my alarm to 1p.m. and as soon as my head hit the pillow I fell asleep.

Layla's P.O.V.:

I woke up feeling exited for today. I love going out with Ash. We always have so much fun together.

I decided to call her at about 10a.m. because I just wanted to hear her voice, and tell her good morning.

The phone rang for about a minute and then it went to voice mail.

Weird, she always picks up when I call her. She must still be asleep.

I decided not to bother her, and instead spend the day with my family until it's time for our date.

Ashley's P.O.V.:

My alarm woke me up, and as soon as I got up, I felt better than this morning, so I guess I was right, and I don't have to cancel on Layla. That's amazing because I didn't want her to be disappointed.

I looked at my phone and saw I had a missed call from Layla.

After I got ready for the day, I called her back, she responded almost immediately.

"Hey Ash."

"Good morning beautiful."

"It's not morning, it's afternoon."

"Yeah, I know. I just didn't get to tell you good morning today, so I told you now."

"That's really sweet, but why didn't you answer your phone this morning? Is everything okay?"

"Yes babe, don't worry, I was just sleeping and didn't hear my phone."

"Yeah I figured that, but I just had to ask to make sure. Are we still going out tonight?"

"Definitely. I wouldn't cancel for anything. See you tonight baby, i got to go."

"Oh, okay, see yah."

"Love you."

"I know." Was the last thing she said before she hung up, and I know that's her way of telling me she loves me but she's still not ready to say it, and I don't mind waiting. I'll wait for her as long as she needs.

Suddenly, I felt a small headache, but it didn’t last long so I just brushed it off and decided to go have lunch because I was starting to get hungry.

I went down stairs and was greeted by our maid Emerly, she was my best friend here at the house.

"Hey Emerly, is Lunch ready?"

"Yes, it is. Your parents said you can eat without them, they are stuck at work."

At that, my mood fell.
