Ashley's P.O.V :

Today was my date with Lili and I was so excited to see her and spend a whole night with her. So I put on a sexy red dress that went to my knees.

At 6 I was already waiting for her at the spot I dropped her off yesterday.

I was playing a game on my phone when I heard light tapping on the passenger window, which made me look up to see the most gorgeous girl I have ever seen.

She was wearing a black high waisted skirt and and a nice blue sleeveless button up shirt.

I unlocked the car for her and she got in greeting me with a shy smile.

"Sorry I was late, I was arguing with Cassie who was insisting on making me wear this skirt, although she knows I hate it." She apologized, annoyed.

"Who's Cassie?" I asked with a pang of jealousy.

"Oh. Um, she's my best friend. Kind of. Yeah." She replied. I was so relieved when she said that.

"OK. So are you ready." She nodded. I started the car and headed to this cute Italian restaurant that I found when I was searching for places to take her.

"By the way, Lili, you look beautiful."

"Thanks. Y-you t-to. I-I guess." She stuttered and she was so cute.

We arrived and I parked in the parking next to the restaurant. I got out before Lili did and turned around the car so I could open the door for her. She thanked me and we went inside.

A waiter greated us at the entrance and guided us to our reserved table which was next to the large windows that showed a beautiful view of the ocean.

We sat down a cross from each other as he passed us our menus.

"I'll be back after a while to get your orders and if you need anything just wave me over as I pass by you. Enjoy your night ladies." He so kindly said and went to serve other costemers.

"So what would you like princess?" I asked her as I went through the menu trying to decide what to eat.

"Un, I don't know. I think I'll just have pasta Primavera. I kind of want to try it." She replied shyly.

"Alright then." I called the waiter over when I saw him near us so I could order.

"So I would like to have an Italian Penne pasta. And for Lili a pasta Primavera please."

"Okay. Is that all? Would you like anything to drink." I looked over at Layla to see if she wanted. She shook her head no.

"Me neither. That will be all. Thank you."

He gave me a warm smile and left us to give our order.

After some time of me asking a lot of questions to Layla about herself and her replying with short answers, the food finally came and we started eating our pastas, which, by the way, were delicious.

After some time of comfortable silence, Layla surprised me by being the one to brake it.

"Ashley, I know it's going to sound weird, but can you tell me a little about yourself? I think it would be nice to try and get to know you, because I don't think you're leaving me alone anytime soon." She rambled and I stopped her by putting my hand over hers.

"It's okay to ask, you know. I've been asking you so many questions that I'me surprised you didn't slap me yet." At that she giggled and it was the most adorable thing I have ever heard.

"So are you going to tell me anything?" She asked again.

"Well, there's nothing much I can say about myself. I'm just a normal girl. I lived in New York since I was born, I was kind of popular at my old school. But we moved here because my dad wanted to open a new branch of his company here. So yeah."

She nodded. After our conversation was done, I paid for the dinner, which she argued me about, but I just won at the end, then I took her to the beach that was next to the restaurant to take a walk.

I removed my shoes and started running on the sand as I twirled around.

"What are you doing?" She asked as she laughed at me.

"Just enjoying the night. You should do the same."

She looked thoughtful for a couple of seconds then with hesitation she took of her shoes and ran to me.

"This is pretty cool."

"Told ya."

We fouled around a bit but then it started raining, like a little drizzle. I wanted to go to the car but she stopped me by saying that she always wanted to run under the rain.

"Are you serious?"

"Yeah. Look how pretty it is."

I just smiled at her as she looked up at the sky. Who would've thought that Layla, the girl who was so cold, mysterious and distant, would look like an innocent child under the rain.

I approached her and her eyes left the sky to boar into mine. Her red eyed, that were shining in the moonlight, were so mesmerizing that I couldn't look away from her.

I didn't notice how close we were until I felt myself leaning my lips towards her.

When they were an inch away from hers, I stopped.

"Can I kiss you?" I whispered so gently that it wouldn't have been heard if she wasn't so close.

I felt her nod slightly so I crashed my lips on hers immediately, desperate to feel her lips on mine.

The kiss was passionate and slow. I didn't want her to be afraid or run away. I was just scared to rush it. So we kissed while the rain was pouring on us. Good thing it wasn't that cold here.

I wanted this moment to never end. But unfortunately we had to pull apart so we could breath.

I layed my forehead on hers and looked at her. Her eyes were still closed as if she was savoring the moment.

Without saying anything she opened her eyes and turned around to look at the sea, so I put my hand around her waist and we both made our way back to the car in silence.
