Layla's P.O.V. :

Today was Saturday, the day of my second "date" with Ashley.

Yesterday I was at the fighting club and I got hit on my nose and it hurts like hell. It's all black and blue because I think it's broken. I tried to hide it as much as I can, hoping she won't notice it.

But my hopes weren't granted because as soon as she saw me she shrieked.

"What happened to your face? Poor baby. Let me see." She approached me to touch it but I winced away from her.

"Don't. Please."

"Who did this to you?" She asked, cradling my face in her soft hands.

"No one, don't worry about it. Now let's enjoy this date you have prepared."

"But-" I cut her off by pecking her lips.

"Let's go." She sighed but let it go, and soon we were on our way to I don't know where.

She told me to wear something comfy, that we weren't going anywhere fancy. And this is what I did by wearing simple black skinny jeans and a white t-shirt that said I heart pizza. Which is true. I toped it off with some white converse.

On our way I noticed that we weren't in the city anymore so I asked where she was taking me.

"It's a surprise. You're gonna love it." When she noticed my worried face she added. "I'm not kidnapping you don't worry."

"I wouldn't mind being kidnapped if you were my kidnapper." I didn't know how I had the courage to say this but I did.

Ash's face turned a bit red, she tried to hide it but it was too late.

She parked the car at the base of a small hill when we arrived. She went out and I did the same. She went to the back of the car and pulled out a basket full of food, I guess. And we made our way up.

"Wow. This is amazing." I exclaimed. And it really was. The hill had the most wanderfull view of the sea. The waves were crashing down on the shore and rocks next to it. It was breathtaking.

"I'm glad you like it. I found this place one day while I was taking a walk." I nodded to let her know I heard her, I was still entranced by the scenery in front of me.

After a few seconds of silence, I helped her lay out the blanket and we started unpacking the food. Ironically she brought pizza, along with some other food and drinks.

After we ate and were satisfied, we cleaned up and she told me to lay down and wait for her to make a phone call which she said would take a couple of minutes. And that's what I did.

She came back after a few minutes and sat next to me.

"Look the sun is starting to set." I got up as soon as she said this. I loved sunsets. Now I know why she brought us here, I remember one day I told her about my love for sunsets.

"I can't believe you remembered." I blurted out, happy to know she listens to the little details.

"Why wouldn't I, it's something that makes you happy, and I love seeing you smile." That made my smile grow wider.

We watched the sunset in a comfortable silence until she decided to brake it.

"Lili, I have a very important question to ask you. I didn't know how to ask you in words, so look up."

So that is what I did, and my mouth dropped open at what I saw. A small airplane was flying above us and it was carrying a big banner that said: "Would you be my girlfriend Lili?" in big bold letters.

My eyes watered at the sight. No one ever did something like this to me, I have never felt so wanted before. She really does like me.

"So what's your answer?" I hesitated for a couple of seconds.

I was scared. As much as I wanted to say yes, I was scared she would leave me after she found out about my life. But after I looked into her eyes that held nothing but adoration for me. I knew that I wanted her more than anything.

"Yes, I would love that." I replied and she immediately crashed her lips with mine. Kissing her was the best thing ever in the world. It made me feel light, like every problem, every fear I had would vanish by the simple touch of her lips to mine.

"Lili, you just made me the happiest girl in this world." She exclaimed hugging me and I wrapped my arms around her waist.

We just stood there in each other's arms for who knows how long just listening to the sounds of our breathing and the waves crashing down bellow.

It was amazing how in just a couple of weeks, this girl has made me change so much. She has brought the good inside of me. She was the only one that I have ever felt safe with except for my family for years. She makes me so happy.

Unfortunately the perfect momement had to come to an end because night was starting to fall and she had to go back to her house.

We stood up and made our way to the car.

"Hey Lili. I still have something for you." She came around to my side with a bag in her hand.

"What is it?" I asked when she gave me the bag.

She gestured for me to open it and I did and was surprised to see that she had bought me a phone.

"What. No I can't except this. It's too much Ash. You..."

"I want you to have it. So I could talk to you whenever I want. Plus it's nothing really. Remember I love to make you happy." She said, cutting me off.

I looked at it and a tear slid down my face.

"Oh please don't cry." She took my face into her delicate hands and rubbed my tears away with her thumbs.

"It's just that, no one has ever done something like this for me except for Cassie. I-I- thank you." She smiled at me, that perfect smile that made me melt from the inside.

She kissed my forehead and made her way to the other side of her car so we could drive home.

She drove me to the same place she picked me up from and I made my way to my small house.

Cassie, like usual, was waiting for me when I opened the door.

"You had fun I see." She whispered when she saw my smiling face. I guess Ricky was asleep.

"Mhmm. Guess what." She gave me a quizzical look telling me to continue. "I have a girlfriend now."

"She finally asked you?" I nodded.

She hugged me tightly.

"I'm happy for you. You can tell me the details tomorrow if you want."

I nodded as she went and sat on her bed.

"Where's Mark?" I asked when she laid down.

"Taking a walk." I nodded again and too laid on my bed.

I began to think back to this date. I opened the phone Ash gave me and found out her number was already on it. I smiled and put the phone on the night stand next to me.

Today was really the best day of my life.
