Ashley's P.O.V:
Walking on the streets of my new neighborhood, I was looking everywhere around me, trying to memorize every detail of this beautiful place.
While walking, I discovered that there was a small park not far from our mansion. Yes, you read right, my parents and I live in a mansion, you could call us rich, but I wasn't the type of person to rub it in anyone's face. Plus I wasn't even spoiled, my parents hated that, and I was okay with it.
While I was walking my vision wondered to the setting sun. The view was amazing. The sky was painted with a mix of yellow, orange and purple.
As I was distracted, someone ran into me.
"Can't you look where you're going?" The person said harshly, after they fell on the ground.
The voice was one of a girl that was my age, I think. It was hard to tell because of the hood that covered her face.
All I could dissever was her mesmerizing red eyes. What an unusual color. I've never seen someone with such beautiful eyes.
I extended my hand, offering her help to stand after apologizing for knocking her down.
She ignored my hand and stood up by herself, she was a good 2 or 3 inches shorter than me, and I was about 5'8'' tall.
"Are you okay?" I asked her, kind of worried for her.
"I'm fine." She answered and turned around and continued walking, but I wasn't done talking with her.
"Wait..." She stopped and turned around, raising an eyebrow at me, waiting for me to continue. "I was thinking, I'm new here and I was hoping to meet someone my age to have at least a friend before school and..."
"If you want to have any friends, then it's better if you don't talk to me, I'm not loved." She cut me off.
We suddenly heard someone running behind me and I turned around to see a police man running towards us.
"Hey you stop right where you are." He yelled addressing the girl.
"Shit." She mumbled and ran away. Wow she's fast.
The police man stopped next to me out of breath. How long has he been chasing after her.
"Did he hurt you young lady?" He asked. Why would she hurt me.
"No. Why?" I voiced my thoughts. I was so confused.
"We've been chasing that person for about two years, and we never could catch him. He's fast." He didn't know she was a girl. Weird.
I decided not to tell him, I want to see where this story will take me.
Although this stranger was obviously bad news, never the less, she was beautiful and mysterious, and I planned on knowing her secrets and getting closer to her. This was going to be a great adventure.
