"Y/N wake up" Cedric shook you violently. You groaned in response rolling over, your face in your pillow.

"Dads visiting the Weasley's, their back from Egypt wake up we need to leave!" He eagerly shook you.

A little too eagerly, his last shake threw you over the other side of the bed resulting you to hit the cold, wooden floor.

"Cedric!" You sternly longed out getting off the floor.
You lived with the Diggory's ever since your mum, Amora Skyes, passed the year before your first year at Hogwarts. You were only 10 and didn't remember much about that night, Just Amos bringing you to his home right after. Amos was your mums best friend and, even though he was never appointed, your godfather.
"Get ready quick, I need to go to Diagon alley for some school stuff" Cedric rushed out the door and down the stairs.
You rolled your eyes and started to brush your hair and lazily put it up with a claw hair clip. You changed from your pajamas into a brown knit sweater , blue baggy jeans and a random pair of shoes. You were rubbing the sleep out of your eyes when you came to the realization you weren't packed for the school year.
"Y/N ARE YOU READY?!?" Amos yelled from down stairs.
"just about!" You yelled back, you were not at all ready.
You were frantically throwing clothes onto your bed next to an empty brown leather suitcase. You could hear footsteps coming up the stairs and to your room. You turned from your bed on your heels only to meet Cedric.
"Sarcina" you muttered flicking your wand back at the clothes and they instantly folded into your suitcase.
"You weren't packed, seriously?" Cedric smiled.
You playfully rolled your eyes and rushed downstairs. You all rushed into the fireplace, Amos had the floo powder and instantly you all transported to the leaky cauldron . Cedric left quickly as Amos went to talk to Arthur, leaving you to sit at the table patiently waiting for the twins. Hermione, Ron and Harry were there, Ron talking about Egypt passionately to Harry. You weren't the closest of friends with them nor Hermoine but you considered them friends nonetheless.

"Not flashing that clipping about again Ron?" Fred's voice boomed coming down the stairs.

"I haven't shown anyone!" Ron protested.

" no not a soul! Unless you count Tom-"  George revealed himself.
"The day maid"
"The night maid"
"The cook"
"That bloke who fixed the toilet"
"That wizard from Belgium!" The twins went back and forth.
You giggled at them being in sync like always. They barely noticed you were there.
"Y/N/N" Fred wrapped his arm around you and rubbed the top of your head.
"Hello Freddie" you laughed looking at the tall boy, he sat down to your right.
"Hi Y/N" George said smiling looking into your eyes.
You suddenly felt butterflies fill your stomach, what was that about? You felt flushed but snapped back to reality to greet George.
"Hey George" you gave a beaming smile.
The cook came out and placed a plate in front of you. Arthur came and pulled Harry aside into a deep and what looks like a very concerning conversation, you pondered about what they were talking about until a red liquid fell all over your lap, you gasped at how cold it was.
"Y/N I'm so sorry I didn't mean to knock over the drink!" Ron instantly apologizing.

"It's okay, it's okay"
You stood to leave and clean yourself off in the washroom but slipped on the juice but before you could hit the floor you felt a pair of strong arms catch you. You looked up only to see George holding you up.
" I uh- thought you might need a hand" he stuttered.
You were blushing a deep red and stood up straight looking into his eyes, they were a deep brown with twinkles of honey in them, you didn't even notice the trance you were in until Fred spoke up.
"Done staring at each other now are we"
You snapped back into reality and hurried off to the bathroom, you felt like you could stare at George forever, you instantly felt guilt for having these feelings about your best mate, you didn't even understand.
Why is this happening ?
