It was the next morning and you and George were first to wake up. It was a bittersweet feeling; you got to see Amos again but had to leave Fred and George. As you got your stuff ready you gave lee his present since you wouldn't see him on Christmas Day then off to Oliver.
"Hey Ollie" you walked into his dorm.
He turned from his packing and engulfed you in a hug. "Hey there" he smiled.
" so I got you this" you placed the presents on his bed.
"What?when" he looked confused.
"Hogsmeade" you shrugged sitting on his bed.
"How did you-" he started getting cut off.
" I have my ways" you smirked.
He quickly opened the chocolates from honeydukes smiling and popping one in his mouth. Then he peered at the long narrow box. He looked at you confused then ripped it open. The new fire bolt.
"When did you? How did you? Bloody-" his Scottish accent was stronger than ever.
He hugged you tight as you guys laughed. It was expensive but not too bad considering you've had money in a vault from your mum, lots of it too. He thanked you and then popped up off the bed getting your gift.
" it's not as good as your gift but just a little something, it was before I found out you didn't fancy me so please bare with it" he chuckled nervously.
You gave him a reassuring smile and opened the gift, you instantly gasped at how beautiful it was, he gave you an everlasting pink rose and an infinity necklace.
"Oliver these are beautiful" you said in awe.
"I'm glad you like it" he hugged you.
You hugged him back tightly and sat there for awhile you both admiring the gifts until you heard Cedrics voice booming up the stairs.
"Y/n! Y/n! Dads here we've got to go!" He called.
"I think that's my cue" you smiled "see you after the holidays, happy Christmas " you hugged him one last time.
"You aswell! And be ready for that game against hufflepuff!" He hollered as you walked away and down the stairs.
You walked to the gryffindor common room to see only Cedric.
"How did you get in here?" You furrowed your brows at him.
"Neville, now come on no time for chat!" He dragged you out.
You both walked out and down the stairs getting ready to walk out the doors.
"Y/n!" George called running to you.
You and Cedric both stopped as George hugged you tightly as if he'd never see you again.
"Georgie, I'll see you tomorrow at noon" you laughed.
"That's a long time!" He protested "let me carry your bag to the car" he grabbed it from your hand giving a smile and nod to Cedric.
They were never close friends but friends considering your relationship with the twins and Amos and Arthur working together for the ministry, somewhat like you and Ron. You all walked out and you greeted Amos with a hug. George put your trunk in the back of the car and shook Amos' hand.
"Alright love I'll see you tomorrow at noon" he kissed your cheek.
Cedric smiled at the two of you and got in the car, Amos standing there confused as ever. You got into the car after hugging George and Amos started driving ,more like flying, away, you watched George's tall figure fade. Most of the car ride was you showing them new muggle songs Hermoine showed you and Laughing at jokes.
"So.." Amos turned the music down "you and the weasley, which one was it again" he asked.
"George!" You laughed at him.
"Oh yes! George, could never tell the difference between those two" he muttered "is that- something?" He raised an eyebrow in the rear view mirror.
"Uhm well-" you started but Cedric quickly cut you off.
"Can't you tell!" He exclaimed "they're in love! Always have been"
You laughed and kicked the back of the seat. "Yeah we're- dating"
"Ok well, he better keep an eye out! Be careful with your heart no boy will hurt my daughter I tell you" he said.
You smiled at him calling you his daughter and he smiled back at you through the mirror. The Diggory's have been your family and Amos was the only father figure you had since you didn't really remember your birth dad. it made you happy to not only hear Amos call you his daughter but Cedric call you his sister. Cedric too, was smiling, your family was small but nothing less than loving.
"Okay..dad" you smiled looking out the window again enjoying the moment.
