You woke up almost exactly like you did as you left home.

"Y/n! Come on it's Christmas wake up!" Cedric danced around your bed.

"Cedric!" You groaned into your pillow.

"Come on presents! Presents!" He dragged you out of bed.

You and Cedric had matching pajamas on like every year for Christmas, this year you both had penguin pants with white long sleeves. You rubbed your eyes walking down the steps slowly behind a energized Cedric. How did he always have so much energy in the mornings? You would never wake up if you had the chance.

"Ok ok let's get this started! Cedric for you.. y/n for you.." Amos handed you guys your presents.

He had got you an antique hair brush along with some satin headbands, a new sweater that said puddlemere United on the front and some sweets. You hugged him and thanked him as you watched Cedric open his gift from Amos, he got a kenmare kestrels sweater along with a fluffy snow hat an adventure kit and some sweets aswell. You quickly pulled your gifts out.

" mines next!" You handed them over eagerly

Cedric opened first and smiled at the sweets before noticing the necklace "these are my favorite" he smiled reaching into the box once more pulled out the silver chain necklace with the matching picture to your bracelet. "I love it!" He gasped putting it on quickly. "I'll never take it off". He got up and hugged you tackling you into the couch and sitting next to you. Amos smiled and opened his gift.

"A beautiful hat just my style" he danced a little in his seat Making you and Cedric laugh. "And what's this.. oh- oh dear" he held his heart smiling at the picture. "I remember this day, Cedric started learning to surf and you got dragged in by the waves, what a fun day it was" he smiled hard at the picture. "I'm in love with it darling" he hugged you again.

"Ok mines next" Cedric got up to get his gifts and handed them over.

You let Amos open his first, he got a matching cloak to the hat you got him , a brown leather sweater and a glass badger, considering it was his patronus and they were both hufflepuffs it was a cute gift.

"Go on y/n open yours" he smiled.

You opened your gift to a gold ring with a red ruby stone, it had your initials carved into it, you smiled at it looking over at Cedric who told you to pull out the next part, you looked a little confused at first and looked at him for help.

"Notes" he simply stated " I know sometimes you have bad days and decide to lock yourself away from the world" he explained.

"So these are notes to help me" you smiled.

"Lots of them! Endless jar that is, I wrote them all myself" he proudly smiled.

"Ced.. I love it" you started to tear up and he hugged you tightly. "Gryffindor is still winning against hufflepuff when we get back" you laughed.

For the rest of the morning you all sat around drinking hot cocoa eating breakfast that Amos made and laughing. You finally decided to get up and get ready to leave for the burrow. You went up stairs and did your normal routine of showering getting dressed and you decided to put a little bit of makeup on today. You were brushing your now dry hair when Amos came in and sat on the bed.

" i have one last gift for you" he pulled out a small pink and white box and put it on your vanity dresser.

You looked at it then looked at him again. You opened the box to find a small middle part of a charm that said "daughter". You smiled at it.

" I really am your daughter you know" you smiled at him with tears in your eyes. " you and Cedric are and always will be my family".

"I know darling, I got one too" he showed you his necklace with a half heart saying father "and Cedric got his aswell, it's to remind us that we'll be family no matter where we are, and you will always be my little girl no matter what you do, even though you are growing up and have a boyfriend" he laughed.

"I love it, thanks dad" those words were special to you and Amos.

it's been six years and this was only the second time you called him that, though you knew it would become a normal thing from now on. Amos got up and gave you a tight hug and left you to get ready for the burrow, you had on a brown argyle printed sweater With brown pants and a black belt with black shoes. You quickly cleaned your room putting your new gifts onto your bed and going to Cedric's room. You stood in the doorway as he noticed you.

" you coming with me to the burrow today" you asked.

" we'll see I have a few things to do today but if I have time I'll make it!" He smiled and you nodded making your way to the floo powder, after telling Amos goodbye of course. Then with a green flash you were off to see the Weasley's where there was never a dull moment.
